6-year-old Rochester fashionista's strut to be featured on hit CBS show
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — At just six years old, Sa'Riya Bah has already stepped into her passion: modeling fashion pieces.
'You can walk in different ways,' Bah said. 'And you can, do whatever you want, and it's really fun to do it, and I think everyone should learn how to do it,' Bah.
But her creativity doesn't stop at clothes and shoes, Bah is also a dancer. She's put her skills to good use, modeling at Fashion Weeks across the country.
'I did one in New York, and I did one in Atlanta, and the one that's in the video is in Pennsylvania,' Bah said.
The video — posted to Sa'Riya's Instagram in 2024. Sa'Riya is dressed in a floral dress and bow, and white sandals and she struts down the fashion runway. That video, has since garnered millions of views, with 235,000 likes on Instagram.
'When I'm walking, it gets me really happy. And when I wear start putting my clothes on, it makes me super happy to be walking,' Bah said. 'I love being on stage.'
The video, also captured the attention of one hit CBS TV show — 'The Greatest #AtHome Videos,' hosted by Cedric the Entertainer.
News 8 asked Sa'Riya how she felt when she learned her walk featured on the show.
'My grandma was really excited, and my grandma is really happy that she gets to see me on TV,' Sa'Riya said.
Sa'Riya said this is just the start of this career. News 8's Gio Battaglia asked her her next goals for her fashion, modeling, and dance career.
'Something that I really want to do with fashion is […] teach other people how to do it, and if they wanted to try to do it, I would try to help them,' Bah said.
