Generate Key Takeaways The stars turned out in droves for the 2025 Met Gala on Monday, turning heads on the red carpet while ascending the iconic steps at New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art on what has become the fashion world's biggest night. But the attention-grabbing looks didn't stop there, with many attendees hitting the gala's afterparties in style. The official dress code of this year's Met Gala was 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,' a nod to Black dandyism and the significance of fashion in the 'formation of Black identities.' And from floor-sweeping and sequined gowns to surprising bodysuits, pantsuits and just plain suits, celebrities — and their designers and stylists — did their best to honor that theme. At the afterparties, though, there was no formal dress code — and the stars seemed to let loose. Here's a roundup of fashion from this year's post-gala party circuit. Ryan Destiny Looks Like Money At The Fall 2025 Ralph Lauren Show
Black America Web Featured Video CLOSE Source: The Hapa Blonde / Getty Ryan Destiny reminded us of the power of monochromatic fashion at the Fall 2025 Ralph Lauren show on April 17. She was among a star-studded guest list that included Ariana DeBose, Andra Day, Anne Hathaway, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Michelle Williams, and Naomi Watts – all there to witness Ralph Lauren's latest collection. Draped in a deep green Ralph Lauren ensemble, Ryan served a slay equal parts rich auntie and power player. The actress was giving polished, sophisticated, and sexy – and we are obsessed. Her outfit featured a sharply tailored leather blazer – cinched perfectly at the waist – and a floor-grazing satin skirt in the same jewel-toned shade. The contrast of textures was everything. From the leather's matte richness to the silk's soft sheen, her monochromatic moment had depth and couture complexity. Talk about timeless fashion! The monochromatic green elongated Ryan's already toned physique, showing off her curves, shape, and bold attitude. Her hair and makeup kept the same boss energy. She slicked her hair back into a swoop side-parted bun. And her makeup was fresh, glowing, and clean. Ryan's face card was on never decline. Ryan's ensemble oozed quiet luxury and looked 'it girl' expensive. Everything about her look was sleek, minimal, tailored, and intentional. We're not surprised by Ryan's flawless appearance at Ralph Lauren. The actress is entering a new styling era with none other than Law Roach. She is Law's newest muse and client. ( Known for his work with Zendaya and Celine Dion, Law transforms fashion girls into icons. Period. ) The two made their official red carpet debut at the Fashion Trust Awards in Los Angeles on Tuesday, April 8. While posing for the cameras, Law told E! News that Ryan is his newest muse, as she stunned in Schiaparelli. 'Tonight is my big debut back into styling, and Ryan's my date and my new muse,' he said. 'I'm really excited, and the Fashion Trust Awards is a good place to debut and let everyone know that I'm back.' Fans know Law declared his retirement from styling in March 2023 via Instagram. Ryan matched that energy. She said, 'I'm just very, very happy and excited for what we're going to do. I definitely trust him, and I think it's something we're learning together—figuring things out—and it's really fun. He's the best of the best.'
