Applications open for Youngstown free kids summer camp
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — A summer camp in Youngstown will offer more than just entertainment.

The Kids Free Summer Camp will offer children the chance to learn and explore. It's a free summer camp for the families that live within Youngstown. Children from age through 13 can be campers.
The camp runs from June 9 to August 8, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
'There are different avenues for this camp. It's social, there are sports, there are arts,' Recreational Programs Supervisor Micaela Brown said. 'There are different things that they'll be learning for this camp.'
Applications are available at City Hall, the Parks and Recreation Office or the Atkinson Rec Center.
Camp staff is being hired, too. You have to be at least 16 years old.
