Franklin police investigate report of shots fired on Union Street. What they found

FRANKLIN — Police said they're investigating a report of several shots being fired Wednesday on Union Street. In a press release, police said there were no injuries and no property damage as a result of the incident. They said a resident called police reporting gunshots at 9:10 p.m. near 758 Union St. Upon arrival, police said they did not find anyone. But they did find three shell casings in the area, indicating someone had fired several shots, according to the release. The incident is being investigated by the Franklin Police Department. No other information is being released.
