A LUCKY few Biffy Clyro diehards have snagged golden tickets to a mystery gig in Glasgow tonight, sending fans of the Ayrshire rockers into a frenzy.
The excitement began earlier this week when a mysterious website appeared under the band's original name, Screwfish – a throwback to their early days in 1995 when they first performed in Kilmarnock.

Biffy later wiped their Instagram leaving just a red square
Cryptic posters teasing 'Screwfish, Glasgow, 21st May' cropped up across the city, hinting at a secret show at SWG3 Warehouse in the West End.
But the lads - Simon Neil, James Johnston, and Ben Johnston - have remained tight-lipped if they were the ones set to play tonight.
Tonight, hours before the event, the band wiped all of their socials, leaving behind a red square.
Fans scrambled for clues that the gig would indeed be their idols in an intimate setting far removed from the stadium spectacles the band is now renowned for.
Sammi Read, 40, from Glasgow, has seen the trio live ten times and was tipped off by an Instagram post tagging the band.
Speaking outside the venue, she said: 'Someone mentioned they might be playing under their old name.

"I checked Ticketmaster on a whim today and kept refreshing – one single ticket popped up, and I grabbed it! I'm buzzing.
"I hope there's new music coming; I absolutely can't wait.'
Speculation had been rife all week, with theories swirling about the surprise event.
Biffy Clyro performed three sold-out nights at the Barrowlands last October and hinted at new studio sessions earlier this year.

Their last major release, The Myth of the Happily Ever After, came out in 2021, and they have a packed festival calendar ahead.
Fans also noted it's been thirty years since the band's first-ever gig, fuelling talk of fresh tracks.
Ewan Divertie, from Dunfermline in Fife, managed to grab a ticket at the eleventh hour and dashed to Glasgow, convinced the gig would feature the rock legends.

The 23-year-old, who has seen the band more than ten times, said: 'I got the ticket at 5.45 and was here an hour later. I jumped straight in the car and didn't stop.
"I've got no expectations – I'm just happy to be here if it turns out to be them!'
