The students of The New Millennium School, Bahrain, emerged as winners in CBSE CLUSTER BADMINTON (Boys and Girls) TOURNAMENT. The young players from NMS competed with players from all other CBSE schools around the kingdom, winning Under 14, 17 Boys' tournaments and Under 14, 17 Girls' tournament, securing their position into the National Tournament. Badminton Boys Under 14 Winners Bevin Bijosh, Ayush Nair, Agastya Vishwanath, Saksham Jain. Aniketh Nair, Aakash Saktivel, Advaith Jayadeep, Yatharth Makwana. Badminton Girls Under 14 Winners Poornashree Nair, Samanvi Chekke, Aradya Mahipal, Anishika Rajeev. Under 17 Winners Aadhya Girish, Naysa Deshmuk, Trisha Joshi, Mishika Dubey. Chairman, Dr. Ravi Pillai, Managing Director, Ms. Geeta Pillai, and the Principal, Mr. Arun Kuumar Sharma appreciated the efforts put forth by the students, their coaches, and parents.

NMS girls triumph in Bahrain tech contest

New Millennium School Bahrain celebrated a major achievement as a team of its senior students secured first place at the prestigious 'Build Her City Hack 2025' inter-school hackathon for girl students. The competition, hosted by the Royal University for Women on 16th and 17th April, attracted over 64 participants from leading schools across Bahrain. The event challenged students to use technology to address real-world problems through innovation, coding, and teamwork. Award-winning innovation The New Millennium School team of Grade 12 students - Diya Vivek, Dhyana Jassal, Khushi Rai and Rammona Roy - impressed judges with their project 'Eco Tech', which proposed the creation of women-friendly smart benches aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. The project stood out for its creativity, user-friendly design and potential real-world application. The two-day event featured brainstorming sessions, intense coding rounds, and project presentations to a jury comprising AI experts and academic leaders. Participants showcased their skills in tackling urban challenges with innovative digital solutions. School leaders praise success Principal Dr Arun Kuumar Sharma congratulated the winning team and praised their innovation and problem-solving abilities, calling the achievement a reflection of the school's focus on 21st-century learning and fostering creativity. Chairman Dr Ravi Pillai and Managing Director Mrs Geetha Pillai also commended the students, their mentors and families, stating that the recognition underscored the school's commitment to helping students discover and develop their talents. The win marked a proud moment for New Millennium School and reinforced its position as a nurturing ground for young innovators and future leaders in technology and science.
