Singer, actress and "The Voice" coach Reba McEntire has a new gig: spokesperson for Reba McEntire - so what hasn't the legendary singer and songwriter, sitcom lead, dramatic actress, The Voice coach, and Broadway star not done yet? Answer: help you find a home. And today the Happy's Place star is debuting in her new role: assisting Americans in their house search as the face of the "Nearly Home" advertising campaign. 'The way the presents homes to people who are looking for homes I think is a more personal touch. But, also, they added things that I have never seen before," said Reba McEntire. 'When you are looking for a home, you are either pressured into it or it's more of a leisurely type of thing. Either way, has great tools to help you find a great place." Per the logline: 'The campaign highlights the relatable ups and downs of the home buying and selling process, making it feel more accessible and less daunting. Drawing from real homebuyers' experiences, the ads offer digestible solutions to common problems, providing viewers with the tools they need to take the next step in their home search with confidence.' 'We've done quite a few of the ads and they're cute, they're funny, they're different. They're not like an 'I'm going to talk you into this' pitch.' The people in the ads are friendly, and we are trying to treat it like episodes of a sitcom. So, instead of a commercial, it's like here's the episode when Reba comes in and talks about so and so. These are more down to earth, with practical tips.' The first episode of this campaign, called 'The One without the Break-Up,' which premieres today, highlights the very real drama that often comes along with buying a home. So, where does Reba McEntire, the 'Queen of Country,' herself live? 'I have a farmhouse in Nashville and then I have a city house, and my farmhouse is really homey, knickknacks everywhere. When Mama passed, I brought in a lot of things from Oklahoma and out it in the farmhouse. The other house is used more for business and my career and professional life,' said Reba. 'But the farmhouse is the one that is near and dear to my heart. It was built in 1982 but the moldings, the architecture, the quality of the building and how it was made makes me feel very secure and safe. It has three back porches - an open porch, a screened-in porch, and an enclosed porch where you can see the whole hillside in the back. It keeps me so grounded to nature.' As for Happy's Place, will Bobbie (Reba) and Emmitt (Rex Linn) pursue a romantic relationship as alluded to in the first season finale? 'I think there will be some romantic tension, maybe not quite getting to where everybody wants us to get so soon. We want to keep that tension going. But the love interest between Bobbie and Emmitt…it seems so magical,' said Reba. 'We are so blessed to get to ride together to work and ride home together. It's the best job ever.'
