The Perfume Shop unveils boutique format store
Responding to evolving consumer preferences, The Perfume Shop is upgrading to boutique status as part of the UK's largest (200 stores) specialist fragrance retailer's ongoing expansion. Two new The Perfume Shop Boutique stores, set to open this summer, will be located at Brent Cross Shopping Centre, London, and Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex. 'Designed to make luxury perfumes more accessible', they will offer customers 'high-quality and niche perfumes within a more personalised and exclusive shopping experience'. The boutiques will feature a selection of high-end brands including Better World Fragrance House, Contes de Parfums, Hugh Parsons, Laboratorio Olfattivo, L'Atelier ParfumMaison Margiela, Maison Tahité, Moncler Les Sommets Collection, Prada Infusions, Tocca, Serge Lutens and Boss collection. The stores will also provide customers with an 'immersive and engaging retail experience' as it 'continues to reshape the luxury perfume landscape by providing unbiased expertise'. It added that the openings 'align with the growing consumer interest in niche and personalised perfumes', citing recent studies that claim the global luxury niche perfume market is projected to grow from $1.77 billion in 2025 to $3.03 billion by 2033. MD Gill Smith said the launches 'mark a pivotal moment for The Perfume Shop. This concept is a bold step forward in our mission to bring the world of luxury and niche perfumes to a wider audience, while still delivering the expertise, accessibility, and service we're known for.'
