WWE Raw will see the return of Kairi Sane to the ring. She has been out of action for five long months, recovering from a significant injury.
Sane was forced to take time off in December 2024. This was because she suffered a torn ligament in her thumb, which needed an operation.
She had surgery to fix the injury and has been working hard to get back to wrestling form. WWE has announced that "The Pirate Princess" will be back on Raw for the May 19, 2025, episode.
The company even shared a social media video that showed Sane arriving in Greenville, South Carolina. WWE has since confirmed Sane will face Rhea Ripley and Zoey Stark in a triple-threat Money in the Bank qualifying match.
Her return comes at a very important time for her group, Damage CTRL. The faction's future has recently seemed unclear, especially with Kairi and Asuka being injured.

Alex BierensAdding to their problems, WWE recently released Dakota Kai. This has left IYO SKY as the only fully active member of Damage CTRL for some time.
SKY has been very busy, however, as she currently holds the title of Women's World Champion on Raw. In last week's big main event match, she successfully teamed up with Rhea Ripley to win over Roxanne Perez & Giulia.
The May 19th WWE Raw show will be held at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville. The show will also continue with more qualifying matches for the upcoming Money in the Bank ladder matches.
It is not yet known exactly who will be fighting in these important qualifying matches on the broadcast. So far, Alexa Bliss and Solo Sikoa are the first two WWE Superstars to earn their spots in the respective women's and men's Money in the Bank matches later this year.

Another singles match will see the tough Sheamus go one-on-one with the outspoken Grayson Waller. A huge tag team match is also on the card for the May 19th show.
