Union home minister Amit Shah on two-day visit to Gujarat from Saturday
Gandhinagar: Union home and cooperation minister Amit Shah will be in Gujarat on a two-day visit from Saturday, during which he will inaugurate a number of projects in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and Mehsana districts.

Shah will also preside over an event organised by the Gujarat State Cooperative Union on Sunday.
Official sources said Shah will preside over five events of the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation at Vavol in Sector 21 of Pethapur, and Kolavda on Saturday. These include the inauguration of a primary health centre at Vavol, an underbridge joining Sectors 21 and 22, a primary health centre at Pethapur, a lake at Kolavda, and other development projects.
On Sunday, the minister will preside over an event titled 'The Role of Cooperation in Developed India', organised by the Gujarat State Cooperative Union at Science City in Ahmedabad. Later, he will inaugurate a new building of a nursing college at Gozariya in Mehsana district. He will also inaugurate a ready-to-cook frozen potato processing unit at Sadra in Mehsana district.
In Ahmedabad, Amit Shah will inaugurate the newly constructed Pallav flyover at Pallav Char Rasta in Naranpura area of Ahmedabad on Sunday afternoon.
He will also lay the foundation stones of several projects of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation later in the day.
