Kodak Black Hacks Dreezy's Instagram After Awkward Interaction
Kodak Black and Dreezy shared a candid moment where an innocent question resulted in an awkward interaction. In video footage shared by The Shade Room, the two rappers appear to be exiting a venue headed toward their respective vehicles. A conversation is sparked where Dreezy asks Kodak, 'You good?' to which the Florida rapper seemingly took offense. At the beginning of the clip, Kodak is seen speaking directly to the person recording with Dreezy looking on from behind. It appeared that she had already checked on him in good faith. 'I wasn't even talking about like that,' remarked the Chicago-bred musician to Kodak. 'I was just asking if you good?' He responded, 'Am I good? Because I'm sweating?' 'I'm just saying is you good?' Dreezy relayed. 'F**k you on with me?' she questioned after Kodak grabbed her for an awkward hug. 'Don't be acting like that.' A person the Florida rapper refers to as his 'big brother' then wipes his face with a towel. 'That's pure love.' Kodak then walked away with Dreezy's phone to her surprise. 'Can y'all go get my sh*t?' she asked of a person on site. 'Go get my sh*t man. Thank you. Kodak just ran off with my phone.' Eventually, she retrieved her mobile device, but not before the 'No Flockin' performer hacked her social media account and posted himself on her Instagram story. Once she took possession of her phone, Dreezy quickly exited the scene. Earlier this year, the 28-year-old doubled down on his drug usage. During a freestyle rap session featured on On The Radar with Just Brittany and Taylor So Made, he seemingly confessed himself to be a 'Young ni**a with a meth habit.' Concerns about Kodak Black were also raised last year when he allegedly ingested an unknown substance in pill form and exhibited increasingly erratic behavior while visiting popular streamer Kai Cenat. 'I take one perc and y'all be so f**king butthurt,' he shared after the livestream. 'Y'all don't like a ni**a anyway.' 'I'm just Yak, bro,' he continued. 'Ain't sh*t changed, that's how I came in this bi**h. I wake up like this. If anything, give me drugs. Give me drugs, and I'll chill. When I'm not high, when I ain't higher than a bi**h, I'm vibing. When I'm high, I'm in my coma bruh, I ain't talking to nobody 'cuz I'm getting high.' Nicki Minaj Calls Out Roc Nation Over Allegations Including JAY-Z Paternity Rumors, Megan Thee Stallion Lawsuit
Nicki Minaj has channeled her brethren in music, 50 Cent, savagely calling out Roc Nation for allegations against some of the management company's associates. Starting off with Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez, Minaj posted a screenshot of a video 'calling out' Perez for allegedly 'abusing' her daughter Demoree. According to the video, Perez allegedly held her daughter against her will and physically assaulted her. 'Oh no what's going on The Shade Room?!?!!!! Help!!!!!,' Minaj captioned the post. According to NBC6 South Florida, the lawsuit came about last month, revealing serious allegations against Perez, including using her influence and wealth to have her daughter, Hadley, wrongfully institutionalized in a mental health facility for two weeks. According to the suit, Hadley claims she was detained without clear cause, supported by medical records and bodycam footage showing officials directing her into a vehicle. A doctor's evaluation reportedly cited family claims — including from Perez and an aunt — that Hadley had attempted an overdose, which she denied. The lawsuit also accuses Perez of interfering in Hadley's marriage to Javon Hadley by fabricating domestic violence claims. Perez previously sued Javon for alleged abuse of her daughter, which both he and Hadley deny. Hadley was released in April after Perez dropped the case. Minaj then followed up with another post taking jabs at both JAY-Z and Megan Thee Stallion. Reigniting conversation surrounding Hov's alleged son — whom has been seeking a paternity test from the Hip-Hop icon – Minaj called out the ongoing legal matter. 'Oh is this why he was trending the other day? Idk. I hope all is well. To God be the glory,' she captioned a photo of Jay placed beside Raymir Satterthwaite. The headline of the screenshot also claimed that a judge has requested to move forward with Raymir's request for a paternity test proving whether or not Jay is his biological father, thought this has not been substantiated. The 31-year-old has continuously pleaded with the mogul and businessman to take the test so that he can get answers about his identity. 'If he is not [my father], why can't he prove me wrong?' Raymir told Daily Mail in an interview. 'Go to the courtroom and do what everyone else has to do. I can take a no. I can take being embarrassed. I just can't take him not saying anything. It is not fair.' Lastly, the Pink Friday rapper called out Megan Thee Stallion's impending lawsuit just as a federal judge ruled that a sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit against the Texas rapper can move forward. In a cryptic post, Minaj wrote, 'What was the name of that law again??????? Karma's Law? Touch not my anointed law? Vengeance is the Lord's law?… the blogs posting lies, thank you. More money for me. We're working. Trust.' Minaj referenced a prior jab Meg took at her husband Kenneth Petty in her song 'Hiss,' where she rapped, 'These ho*s don't be mad at Megan, these ho*s mad at Megan's Law/ I don't really know what the problem is, but I guarantee y'all don't want me to start.' The line was aimed at Petty, who is a court ordered registered sex offender due to an incident that took place when he was 15. The timing of Minaj's post comes on the heels of U.S. District Judge Gregory H. Woods allowing Emelio Garcia's lawsuit against Megan — born Megan Pete — to proceed. Garcia, Megan's former cameraman, alleges he was harassed and retaliated against due to his sexual orientation. He claims that in 2022, while in Ibiza, Megan engaged in a sexual act with another woman in his presence, made degrading remarks about his appearance, and later cut his hours and pay before firing him when he spoke up. The judge found Garcia's claims plausible, noting that the behavior he described could support a hostile work environment based on his sexuality. Megan and her team have strongly denied the allegations, calling Garcia a 'con artist' and his lawsuit 'baseless.' Unless a settlement is reached, the case is expected to go to trial. Minaj's vengeance against the powerhouse label partially stems from Young Money CEO and iconic rapper Lil Wayne being snubbed of Super Bowl performance slot in his hometown, New Orleans. Instead, Kendrick Lamar was tapped to headline the biggest night in football. In response to the decision, Minaj went on a scathing rant against JAY-Z on X, as he currently holds the title of 'live music entertainment strategist' for the Super Bowl Half Time show. She also sent shots to the Blueprint phenom in her verse on Weezy's 'Banned From N.O.' calling out the Super Bowl snub again and Jay's position. She rapped, 'NFL, fire some ni**as and then call us!' Megan Thee Stallion, JAY-Z nor Desiree Perez has responded to Nicki Minaj as of publication. VIBE has reached out to Roc Nation for comment and has not yet received a response. Nelly Attacks Kamala Harris Supporters After Fans Blast Him For Trump Inauguration Support
Nelly and his wife Ashanti are promoting a new unscripted reality television series aimed at peeling back the layers of the pair's relationships and musical careers, along with the requisite press runs. Some fans online have yet to forgive Nelly for appearing onstage during President Donald Trump's inauguration celebration, prompting the St. Louis star to call out supporters of former Vice President Kamala Harris and more. The Shade Room shared a clip of Nelly sitting with Hot 97's Ebro Darden doing promo with Ashanti for the pair's Peacock series, Nelly & Ashanti: We Belong Together. The clip shows the 'Hot In Herre' artist discussing how he has never endorsed any presidential candidate and pushing back against the assertion that he's a supporter of Trump after the performance. As it often happens with The Shade Room, fans began hurling barbs in Nelly's direction, which got his attention via a lengthy response in where he defends his actions, blasts Kamala Harris, criticized her intteracial marriage, and stood up for Snoop Dogg, who also caught the ire of fans for assumed support of President Trump. From The Shade Room: ''ll put whatever up me and snoop do more in the community and have been doing for over 20 + years against any of you that are just on here talking trash and have no stats to back up what you mean to the community .. from the black families that we employ to the black children that we help every day and all year through our nonprofits, whether we're sending kids to schools on scholarships to HBCU or helping young black boys in la 'gang central ' with his junior football programs which many players have went on to go to the NFL and live their dreams, .. and on top of that we are 'Black Men' married to beautiful Black women with black children .. should be inspiring to most but that some of y'all have a problem with because the 'prosecutor who has probably locked up more black men that we've helped woman of color with the white husband and white kids Did not win the election.. again I reiterate, I did not campaign for anyone. I do not tell people who to vote for. I respect and love our country from top to bottom good and bad… and I am very aware that it's a lot of things in this country that we need to work on the right is too far right and the left is too far left. .. I'm a military baby with a grand uncle who is a Tuskegee airmen and red tail that was very prideful for his country I told you it's my respect for the office meaning any president that calls upon Nelly it would be a honor.. nothing to do with money. Nothing to do with race but if you wanna make it about race, then let's goooooooooooooo I find it very interesting. That's so many of you would dump on the two black men that's married to black women that has black children because the '' woman of color with the white husband and white kids. Didn't win..!! Nelly Slams Kamala Harris For Imprisoning Black Men & Having A White Husband, Social Media Reacts
Nelly is the latest celebrity-turned-internet-punching-bag, and it's because he's been dragged into the political debate sphere. The St. Louis rapper recently sat down with Hot 97's Ebro In The Morning , where he spoke about the flak he got for performing at President Trump's inauguration. Despite accepting the gig, Nelly says it's got nothing to do with being a Trump supporter, instead framing it as having 'respect for the office.' 'It's great how people spin narratives to things that I think best fit whatever they're against. You know what I'm saying?' He continued. 'Instead of giving a brother the exact fundamentals of what he did, what he said. Nobody's doing that anymore.' Nelly sticks to saying he's never endorsed a president and adds that agreeing to the performance was more so him paying respect to the men and women who serve this country, because he himself is a military brat. The defense continued after The Shade Room posted a clip of the interview, and he hopped into the comments section. He even named fellow inauguration performer Snoop Dogg, saying they 'do more in the community and have been doing for over 20 + years against any of you that are just on here talking trash.' His lengthy comment takes a turn when, without mentioning her name, he speaks on Kamala Harris, calling her the 'prosecutor who has probably locked up more Black men that we've helped.' Beyond professional criticism, he even took personal digs, referring to her as the 'woman of color with the white husband and white kids. She did not win the election.' Despite Nelly's pointed comments about Harris, he maintains that he did not campaign for either candidate and attempts to remain neutral. He adds, 'I respect and love our country from top to bottom good and bad… and I am very aware that it's a lot of things in this country that we need to work on the right is too far right and the left is too far left.' His Harris bashing, paired with his refusal to change the diapers of his newborn son with his wife, Ashanti, has him getting roasted on social media. See the reactions below. Halle Bailey's new man's identity reportedly revealed as Scott Bridgeway, Kendrick Lamar's producer
Halle Bailey's new man's identity has reportedly been revealed as Scott Bridgeway, a music producer associated with Kendrick Lamar. The Little Mermaid actress was seen vacationing with him in Italy while on break from filming her next movie. Photos posted by The Shade Room showed Halle on a yacht with the man now identified by fans as Ruchaun Akers, professionally known as Scott Bridgeway. The couple were seen swimming, snapping pictures, sharing kisses, and relaxing—appearing close and comfortable together. Bridgeway, originally from Roanoke and raised in North Carolina, is a hip-hop producer with reported credits that include work with Kendrick Lamar on his album GNX, specifically for tracks "luther "peekaboo" and, "squabble up". The timing of the sighting has drawn attention, as Halle is currently involved in an ongoing custody case with ex-boyfriend DDG over their son, Halo. In May, Halle was granted a restraining order after accusing DDG of domestic violence during a custody exchange. She alleged he left her with bruises and a chipped tooth. Halle also accused him of unlawfully entering her home and continuing to harass her after their separation. Though DDG tried to block her from taking their son abroad for work, the court granted Halle temporary sole custody, allowing her to travel for filming. The custody hearing is still pending. Meanwhile, DDG has remained vocal online, recently stating during a livestream that he would prefer using a fertility clinic for future children to avoid co-parenting. While the legal proceedings continue, Halle's peaceful moments with Bridgeway suggest a possible new chapter, both personally and professionally.
