Model Kim Jong Suk passes away at 29; Korean entertainment industry mourns
The Korean entertainment industry is in mourning following the tragic passing of model Kim Jong Suk, whose death was confirmed on June 6 (KST). According to reports, Kim passed away on June 4, with his family officially announcing the news two days later, on the day of his funeral.
His sister addressed the public through a social media post, expressing the family's profound grief and urging people to avoid spreading baseless rumors or hateful comments during their time of mourning.

The cause of Kim Jong Suk's death has not been disclosed publicly. News of his passing first emerged on June 5, when a close friend shared the heartbreaking update on social media. At his memorial service, one acquaintance shared a photo of a funeral wreath, accompanied by a heartfelt message: "I still can't believe it… I hope you're at peace now, free from pain."
Kim's funeral was held on the morning of June 6 at Maru Park Funeral Home in Hanam. He was later laid to rest at Chuncheon Rest Garden and Yanggu Memorial Park.
