Holiday village that's loved by Gemma Atkinson adds dreamy new additions to spa
A holiday village that's loved by former Hollyoaks actress Gemma Atkinson has announced some exciting new additions to its spa hotel.
The Spa Hotel at Ribby Hall Village has had an upgrade, with a new outdoor pool and 'ice room'.
Guests can now enjoy a newly installed 15-seater outdoor spa pool, perfectly positioned to take in the peaceful, rural views of the Lancashire countryside. Complementing this is the introduction of a brand-new ice room offering a refreshing retreat designed to promote circulation, boost immunity, and support full-body wellness.

For those seeking a deeper level of contrast therapy, the spa has also added two individual ice bath barrels, delivering a bold, invigorating experience proven to reduce muscle soreness, relieve pain, and support mental clarity.
'These enhancements reflect our commitment to offering a truly rejuvenating experience rooted in both tradition and innovation,' said Jane Tregonning, spa manager at The Spa Hotel. 'We're proud to combine countryside luxury with health-boosting therapies that cater to both spa regulars and wellness newcomers alike.'
Further celebrating its continued excellence, The Spa Hotel is a finalist for best day spa in the Good Spa Guide awards 2025. Voting opens on May 1 and to mark the occasion, one lucky voter will win a luxurious spa break for four people.

The hotel has received praise from celebrities such as Gemma Atkinson.
Gemma, the president of Edenfield-based Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary, visited Ribby Hall Village for her 40th birthday earlier this year.
The Bury-born actress shared an itinerary of her visit, which took place from January 24 to 26. This included a stay at The Stables accommodation on site, which includes a hot tub and a wrap-around garden.
The group also enjoyed a meal at the on-site Terrazza Italian restaurant and time in the spa.

Speaking to her 2.1million Instagram followers she said: 'It was brilliant – I have already booked to go back.
'I am going to take the kids, my mum [and other loved ones]. We are going to go back later on in the year when Gorka [Gemma's husband] is away because it was fab.'
Ribby Hall Village welcomes tens of thousands of guests every year. Guests get to enjoy the site's cottage and lodge accommodation, a vast array of sports and leisure activities, restaurants, café, bars and The Spa Hotel, which opened in 2011. The site is family-owned and run.
The site started in 1994 and began as 'a few caravans on a rundown site'. It is now home to hundreds of luxury holiday homes, from traditional static caravans to lodges.
In 1995 the sports centre opened its doors. The Health Club boasts family and adult swimming pools, a state-of-the-art gym, a variety of fitness classes, racquet sports, and a nine-hole golf course.
