Airbnb says this Arizona cabin tops travelers' wishlists. Here's why and how to stay there

There's no shortage of unique Airbnb properties you can rent for a one-of-a-kind vacation. Recently Airbnb unveiled the properties in each U.S. state that travelers ranked among the highest on their wishlists of places to stay. In Alaska, it's a one-bedroom bus. Florida has a converted Chinook helicopter. Kentucky offers a "glamping" experience with a geodesic dome. It's probably no surprise to Arizonans that the most "wish-listed" Airbnb property is a cabin near Flagstaff. The Vista A-frame is settled among the forest and within walking distance of a nature preserve and just a short drive from downtown. Here's what to know about the unique Arizona property, including how to rent it and what makes it special. The most wish-listed Airbnb in Arizona is the Vista A-Frame, a two-bedroom cabin nestled in the forest. The scenery and location are a big selling point for this Airbnb listing, which sits on a half-acre lot in the Kachina Village neighborhood. It is 10 minutes from downtown Flagstaff and just a short drive to some of Arizona's most popular destinations The design of the home perfectly complements the outdoorsy setting. The listing calls it "cozy and moody" with a "peaceful and treehouse-like experience." The home has knotty pine paneling on the walls of A-frame and features a gas fireplace plus a spiral staircase leading to an exposed loft. There is also outdoor eating and cooking space with quick access to the Kachina Wetlands Preserve, a beautiful birding hotspot with walking trails. It is a "guest favorite," according to Airbnb. "This home is one of the highest ranked based on ratings, reviews, and reliability," the listing indicates. Not only did guests highlight the location and its natural beauty, they commented on how well stocked and comfortable the Airbnb was, too. "The cabin was absolutely stunning and cozy! We had the best weekend," wrote Gabriella. "A perfect getaway near Flagstaff - near enough to town for dinner and far enough to feel serene," Sam wrote in his review. You can reserve the Vista A-Frame online at The cabin requires a two-night stay, which will cost at least $800 and possibly more than $900.
