Weeks after knife attack incident, Saif Ali Khan buys new home in..., is he planning to...

A few months ago, Saif Ali Khan made headlines when he was brutally stabbed on the back of his neck in his Bandra residence by the accused Shehzad. Now, months later, Saif has invested in a new property which, as per him, is a 'very safe place.' Recently, Saif bought a luxurious property at The St. Regis Marsa Arabia Island, The Pearl, Doha, Qatar, and opened up about the same at a press event hosted by Alfardan Group. Revealing what drew him to the island, Saif highlighted that the first and foremost thing was safety. He said his stay felt 'safe' and 'a home away from home.' Sharing his experience living in the property, Saif said, 'Think of a holiday home or a second home. There are a few things I think of. One is that it's not very far away and it's easily accessible. And then the other thing, the most important thing, is that it's very safe and it feels very good to be there.' He further added, 'And the concept of an island within an island is also very luxurious and beautiful, and it's just a really lovely place to live. And the feeling you get when you're there is the important thing, and the views, and the food, and the kind of lifestyle, and the pace of living—these are a few of the things that led to my decision.' Calling the property a home away from home, Saif said, 'I had gone there to do some work, and I was shooting for something, and I stayed at the property, and I thought it was amazing. There was something about the mixture of privacy and luxury that I really liked. And again, it was things like food and the way the menu was curated and various things like this. I mean, literally in a nutshell, it felt like a home away from home, so that made it very easy. The main thing really is that it's peaceful and secluded, if that's the kind of thing you are looking for.' He expressed his eagerness to bring his children—Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan—to his new property. Meanwhile, Saif will next be seen in Netflix's much-anticipated film Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins. The movie also features Jaideep Ahlawat, Kunal Kapoor, and Nikita Dutta in key roles.

Saif Ali Khan , known for his luxurious homes in India – including the iconic Pataudi Palace and an upscale apartment in Bandra – has now expanded his property portfolio internationally. The actor has invested in a high-end residence at The St. Regis Marsa Arabia Island , located in The Pearl, Qatar . During a press event organised by one of the leading family-owned conglomerates in the Middle East region, Saif shared the reasons behind his decision to acquire the property. 'When I think of a second home or a holiday destination, a few factors come to mind. The location should be easily accessible and not too far away. Above all, it should be safe and offer a sense of comfort,' he explained. He found the concept of an island within an island quite luxurious and attractive. He called it a wonderful place to live and praised the scenic views, cuisine, and lifestyle, all of which influenced his decision to purchase the property. 'I visited the property while working on a project, stayed there, and found it to be an extraordinary blend of privacy and opulence. The food and the thoughtfully designed menu added to the experience. In essence, it felt like a home away from home, which made my decision much easier,' he added.
