The business owner told us: "Fliers are the cheapest way to do it but they can be boring and everyone does it. "There's been a huge increase in people getting tickets in the southside recently with the pavement ban so I jumped on that. "I printed off 6,000 fake parking tickets which contains information about the restaurant - we've already worked through 1,000 of them. "We generally head out after 10pm when no one is around and they discover it on their car in the morning." Hassan's Turkish restaurant offers a selection of mouthwatering meats, tasty breads and lip-smacking sides. And the parking ticket prank has been a success with the restaurant securing increased bookings and positive social media publicity. On the back is a menu for the new eating spot including pictures of the grub. However the stunt has left a handful of punters upset with some rushing online to blast the business. Hassan laughed: "The reaction has been 50/50, some people think it's a bit of a laugh, but others didn't see the funny side. "There have also been lots of people talking about it on Facebook, so this also helps to riase our profile. 4 Student-turned-restaurateur Hassan Qasim pictured with the flyer Credit: Supplied "We ended up getting 12 one-star reviews on Google because of it but thankfully they've been taken down now."
