Doctor shortage to close Thessalon ER
North Shore Health Network warns Thessalon Hospital's ER will close from 8 a.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday, due to a doctor shortage, patients may need to visit Blind River, Richard's Landing or Sault Area Hospital if alternate arrangements aren't made.

Staff shortages force another Thessalon ER closure
For the third time in under a month, Thessalon's emergency department will close temporarily due to staffing shortages, shutting from 8 a.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday, with patients redirected to nearby hospitals.
