Kannappa to have an increased ticket price
According to Aakashavani, Kannappa will enjoy an increased ticket price of Rs 50 in both single-screen theatres and multiplexes across Andhra Pradesh. This hike will remain in effect for a period of 10 days from the film's release.
The state government had earlier permitted a similar price increase for Dhanush and Nagarjuna Akkineni's recent release Kuberaa. The movie, directed by Sekhar Kammula, hit theatres on June 20.

About Kannappa's cast and story
Kannappa tells the story of Thinnandu. The Vishnu Manchu-starrer will feature much-awaited cameos by Prabhas, Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, and Kajal Aggarwal. Actors such as
, R. Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, and Devaraj are playing key roles in the movie.
Akshay Kumar will portray Lord Shiva in the film, while Kajal will appear as Goddess Parvati.
Makers of Kannappa dropped a public caution notice against trolls
The makers have also issued a public caution notice ahead of the film's global release.
They have warned social media users against trolling, defamation, and negative campaigns targeting the movie. The statement mentioned that legal action would be taken against individuals posting harsh and insensitive comments about the film.
The Delhi High Court has granted protection to the personality and publicity rights of two key stakeholders and principal actors of Kannappa, Mohan Babu and Vishnu Manchu.

'Any dilution or tarnishment of their persona, image or distinctive attributes, including any form of unauthorised use or dissemination of content which misappropriates or defames them—whether for commercial, personal or any other gains—may invite consequences under the present direction from the Hon'ble Court as well as under applicable laws,' the statement emphasised.
