Telangana Gadwal murder plot: NBFC manager, victim's wife planned killing; LOC issued as accused vanishes
HYDERABAD: Gadwal police have issued a lookout circular (LOC) against Thirumala Rao, a non-banking finance company (NBFC) manager and the main accused in the murder of private land surveyor G Tejeshwar.
Thirumala Rao, currently absconding, is alleged to have meticulously planned the killing with his lover Ishwarya-Tejeshwar's wife-before securing two personal loans worth ₹20 lakh and preparing for a secret getaway to Ladakh with Ishwarya. Investigations revealed that Thirumala Rao and Ishwarya monitored Tejeshwar's every move for over a month using GPS tracker secretly installed on his bike.

A local man named Jagan, from the victim's neighbourhood in Gadwal town, was also roped in to keep tabs on Tejeshwar's daily movements.
The murder was carried out by three hired men-Naresh, Parashuram, and Raju from Kurnool-who are currently in police custody. The killers allegedly acted on Thirumala Rao's instructions and received ₹2 lakh in cash from him after showing Tejeshwar's body near Panyam.
Disturbingly, police said the original plan was to kill Thirumala Rao's wife. "But he feared backlash from both families and decided it would be easier to eliminate Tejeshwar instead," investigators revealed.

Ishwarya, who gained the trust of her in-laws completely that her mother-in-law initially refused to believe she was involved, later confessed to her alleged role in the murder, police said.
On June 20, Thirumala Rao travelled to Hyderabad and met a friend in Khairatabad. After learning that police were looking into his activities, he vanished. His car was found abandoned near his friend's residence, and both men are now on the run.
