Ponchatoula man arrested in Hammond drug bust
HAMMOND, La. (WGNO) — A Ponchatoula man has been arrested following a drug bust that occurred in Hammond on Wednesday, Feb. 5.
According to the Hammond Police Department, 51-year-old Thomas 'TJ' Joseph was investigated by detectives at a RaceTrac gas station on Highway 190 West.
Bogalusa man found guilty of distributing cocaine
Detectives say they saw Joseph allegedly selling drugs, later identified as methamphetamine. Joseph was arrested and searched.
During the search, police say they found a 'large sum of money,' as well as cocaine on both him and the vehicle involved in the transaction.
Joseph is already a convicted felon who was on parole for drug charges. He has now been booked on violation of parole, distribution of methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and possession with intent to distribute Bowl Host Committee Parade takes off in the French Quarter
