Family worried about woman missing from Thompson since last week: RCMP
A woman who has been missing from Thompson, Man., since last week has not yet been found, police said on Saturday. Meah Weenusk, 21, was last seen leaving a Princeton-Drive home in a taxi on the morning of May 24, Thompson RCMP said in a Saturday news release. The Mounties say they were contacted about the situation on Friday. Police described Weenusk as about five feet seven inches tall, with a slim build and long black hair. She was last seen wearing glasses, a white tank top with a black sweater and black pants, RCMP said. Weenusk's family is worried for her safety, police said in the news release. Girl sexually assaulted after break-in while she was sleeping at home in Thompson
A 49-year-old man who police say broke into teenage girl's home in northern Manitoba has been charged with sexual assault and forcible confinement. Thompson RCMP went to a home on Ashberry Place on Tuesday around 1:15 a.m. to investigate a report of an assault. Officers were told a teen girl had fled to a neighbour's house and a man she said sexually assaulted her was still at her home, RCMP said in a news release Thursday. The man was arrested at the home, police said. Police believe the man, who the girl knew, broke into her house while she was asleep and sexually assaulted her. The girl, who was alone at home when the man broke in, escaped without physical injuries, police said. The man has been charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, forcible confinement, invitation to sexual touching and breaking and entering.

Thompson RCMP searching for 24-year-old woman missing since Monday

Early Tuesday morning, Shyanne Dorion was reported missing from an address on Arctic Drive, Thompson RCMP said in a news release. Dorion has not returned home since noon on Monday, when she was last seen by loved ones. She is described as five feet two inches, 100 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
