Boots' new £10 Habi vitamin range is said to rival Lemme– we have the verdict

Is Habi a UK alternative for viral US brand Lemme? We take a look... Wellness fans, let us introduce you to a new kid on the block– Habi vitamins. Boots has just dropped this own brand of a colourful, and budget-friendly supplements with a TikTok-inspired aesthetic. Designed to slot neatly into your daily self-care routine without breaking the bank, each bottle comes in at £10, which is far cry from the £30+ you'll typically shell out for sought after US brand Lemme by Kourtney Kardashian. Habi is very much wellness with a healthy sprinkle of fun. The packaging is playful, the ingredients are trendy (think ashwagandha, lion's mane and sea moss), and the flavours are very enjoyable– no holding your nose to swallow pills with them. Many think it's also very much taking a leaf out of the Lemme visual playbook, but with a Boots spin: more accessible, more British sensibility and thankfully, much less Hollywood price tag. Available now in stores and online at the range of 15 supplements (each bottle containing 60 chews) covers everything from sleep to skin to gut health. But are they any good? I tried a handful to find out. Let's talk sleep: Habi vs Lemme If you've seen the lavender-hued Lemme Sleep gummies all over social media, you'll know they're famous for their melatonin-powered promise of dreamy slumber. Habi's Sleep gummies look similar and serve a similar purpose, but they don't contain melatonin. Why? Unlike in the US, melatonin isn't an over-the-counter supplement here in the UK, so Habi has taken a different route. Instead, Habi's Bedtime gummies use lemon balm and griffonia seed extract, both traditionally used to promote relaxation and help ease you into a good night's sleep. They taste like juicy blackcurrants and feel more like a gentle nudge towards rest than a full-on knockout dose. If you're someone who wants to improve your wind-down routine without any heavy-hitters, these could be a good option. The full Habi vitamin line-up In the Zone (lion's mane), £10 These orange-flavoured gummies are packed with Lion's Mane mushroom, zinc, vitamin B12 and pantothenic acid – a combo targeted at focus, mental performance and general brainy brilliance. I've picked these up myself, and they're perfect for days when I need a little energy (or, let's be honest, have brain fog to clear). Downtime (magnesium citrate), £10 Red apple gummies that support muscle function and wellbeing. Magnesium is the unsung hero of stress relief, and this version is ideal if you're after a calming effect without the sleep angle. Hey Sunshine (vitamin D), £10 We're in the UK, so naturally we need vitamin D. These zesty lemon-flavoured chews deliver 25µg per serving for healthy bones, muscles and immune support. No chalky tablets here, just sunshine in sweet form. Vitamin D is the one supplement my mum (a former nurse) takes religiously, so I've got into a habit of doing the same, and these Habi chews are a much nicer swap from my usual pill brand. Tummy Turm (turmeric & ginger), £10 Peach-flavoured and anti-inflammatory, this duo is great for digestion and general wellness. The taste is subtle, no spicy ginger kick really, and they're a lovely, soothing option post-meal. I also picked these up as I have trouble digesting nuts and pulses, and so far nothing huge to report, but I know supplements take time to get to work. Go With The Flow (cranberry & vitamin C), £10 For urinary tract health and immune support, these berry-flavoured gummies are a gentle go-to. Think of them as your quiet little internal cheerleaders. I'll be recommending these to my friends, as we all always complain about our urinary tract woes over brunch. Apple Burst (apple cider vinegar), £10 For those of us who can't stomach actual ACV, these red apple gummies are a gift. They include vitamin C and chromium too, for an extra health kick. Bonus points go to the vegan formula, which is apparently quite hard to find in an ACV supplement. Ocean Power (sea moss), £10 Packed with minerals like iodine, potassium and magnesium, these blackcurrant chews aim to deliver the benefits of this buzzy superfood without the fishy taste. You've probably seen people on TikTok take sea moss by the gloopy spoonful, hailing its immune boosting and weight management benefits. I wasn't sold until I saw these in tasy chew form, so I'm delighted I can finally try the ingredient out. Get the Glow (beauty), £10 Hair, skin and nails? Sorted. With biotin, vitamin C and zinc, these berry gummies are ideal for anyone chasing that lit-from-within glow. A Good Hair Day (biotin), £10 A stronger focus on hair health than Get the Glow, these are for the follicularly-focused among us. Biotin-heavy, blackcurrant-flavoured and easy to pop. Zen (ashwagandha), £10 For stress support and mental clarity, these berry-flavoured gummies feature ashwagandha, iodine and pantothenic acid. I found them ideal for stressful deadlines (like writing this piece before the bank holiday weekend!). The Energiser, £10 A tropical twist for anyone who needs a pick-me-up. This one blends 11 vitamins, including B12, for energy and focus. Think morning coffee in gummy form. I, along with many others, struggle with energery levels, so it's a good all-rounder for me. Defence Mode (immunity), £10 With vitamin C and zinc, these berry-flavoured gummies are your new seasonal essential. They're nothing revolutionary, but they do the jobm and taste lovely doing it. All Set (multivitamin), £10 If you want another all-rounder to cover your bases, this is it. Immunity, bones, muscles, energy– a bit of everything, wrapped up in one berry-flavoured bite. If you're also not sure where to start on your supplement journey, this is a good one to pick up. Gut Goodness (inulin), £10 Fibre is often forgotten, but these berry chews with inulin from chicory root are brilliant for digestion and gut health. Great with your morning breakfast routine. Final thoughts? If you've been curious about the TikTok-famous gummy craze but didn't fancy the big price tag or shipping costs, Habi is a genuinely good alternative. It's fun, functional and affordable. Just don't expect a Lemme dupe when it comes to ingredients like melatonin, and you won't be disappointed. It's also worth noting that if you also get a healthy amount of certain vitamins in your diet, like vitamin C and B, you may not see much in the way of results. However, if you're deficient in anything, or for more niche ingredients like ashwagandha and apple cider vinegar, that you wouldn't really get from food, you may spot some benefits with continued use. Chew on that.

Answering Overwhelming Demand from Fans, Gushers Finally Drops First-Ever All Blue Pack

Gushers fans have been waiting for an all-blue pack, and it's finally here! It's the drop fans begged for: Gushers goes all blue with new pack, featuring classic Blueberry Grape and a new TikTok-inspired Sour Blue Raspberry flavor. MINNEAPOLIS, May 07, 2025--(BUSINESS WIRE)--For years, Gushers fans have made one thing clear: they're obsessed with the blue ones. They've begged. They've posted. They've even sorted them by hand. Now, Gushers is finally making dreams come true with the launch of Gushers All Blue — the first-ever box featuring only blue Gushers, available nationwide starting this month. Alongside the return of fan-favorite vibrant Blueberry Grape, the Gushers All Blue pack also introduces Sour Blue Raspberry, a brand-new flavor inspired by the internet's latest candy trends and the surge in popularity for sour candy. It's sweet, tart and it's here as a result of fan cravings. "The buzz around blue Gushers is impossible to ignore. In the past year alone, mentions of 'blue Gushers' on social media have jumped more than 30%," said Stephanie Lensing, Brand Experience Manager for Gushers. "Fans have been asking for a box of all-blue Gushers for years, so when we saw how much love Sour Blue Raspberry was getting on TikTok, we knew this was the perfect moment to drop. This new variety wouldn't exist without the energy fans brought to every post, comment and share. We're really excited to bring their requests to life." And the fun doesn't stop there – Gushers is leaning all the way into the internet chatter that led to the new pack by sharing an origin tale of the coveted new product. The absurd story comes to life on TikTok through the "Legend of Blue Gushers," a mysterious tale about a place tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains, which Dr. Max Gush, Gushers Historian, has proclaimed holds the secret origin of the coveted all-blue pack. Fans can uncover the mystery by following @therealgushers on Instagram and TikTok. Whether it's the nostalgic sweetness of Blueberry Grape or the trending twist of Sour Blue Raspberry, the Gushers All Blue pack delivers a juicy burst of blue in every bite. Unwrap the explosive new pack now at retailers nationwide, available in a six-count box of pouches for an MSRP of $4.69. About General Mills General Mills makes food the world loves. Netflix is getting into short videos with a new vertical feed for mobile

Netflix announced on Wednesday that it's currently testing a short-form video feature, signaling that even a streaming giant with over 300 million subscribers is concerned about losing viewers' time spent on mobile to apps like TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels. The company debuted the feature at its first-ever product and tech event, where it also revealed several other upcoming plans for the service. These plans include a redesign of the TV homepage and improved real-time recommendations. Netflix's new mobile-only vertical feed allows users to easily scroll through clips of its original titles. Within this feed, users can tap on buttons to either watch the entire show or movie immediately, save it to their "My List," or share it with friends. Of note, the clips are curated from the "Today's Top Picks for You" section, rather than being chosen from Netflix's entire library. This approach makes it specifically tailored to each user, ultimately encouraging viewers to watch the full shows. The experiment rolls out globally in the coming weeks on iOS and Android devices. It'll appear for users as a tab on the in-app homepage. The introduction of this feature comes at a pivotal time, as competition among platforms for viewer attention intensifies. Audiences increasingly favor quick entertainment, leading to a shift in traditional viewing habits. As a result, even large players like Netflix are adapting to retain and attract subscribers. This also follows President Trump's second extension of the deadline for the TikTok ban. The latest test follows a trend among other streaming services that are trying out similar features. Tubi had its entry into short-form video last year with its 'Scenes' feature. More recently, Peacock launched curated vertical video playlists earlier this year that not only feature short clips from TV series and films but also sports and news content. Netflix is no stranger to experimenting with short-form video content. In 2021, the platform rolled out a TikTok-inspired feature called "Fast Laughs," which focused on funny clips. However, this new test aims to reach a broader audience beyond just comedy fans and will be more personalized. In terms of Netflix's new homepage update, one small change implemented is that the shortcuts for "Search" and "My List" were moved to the top of the page, where they were previously located on the left-hand side, making them easier to access. Netflix also has new "callout" badges that help viewers discover titles. For example, if users are searching for the latest Emmy-winning content, these badges will be prominently displayed on the title cards featured on the homepage.

Netflix gets a TikTok-like feed that guides you straight into a binge watch

Table of Contents Table of Contents Why does it matter? What's the plan? Netflix has been experimenting with vertical videos, a la social media platforms, since 2018, when it first introduced mobile previews that offered 30-second snapshots. Three years later, the streaming giant rolled out Fast Laughs, an endlessly-scrolling feed of clips from Netflix content. These features, however, have only been available in limited capacity, and the rollout has been a bit haphazard. As of 2025, I don't have access to any of those features on Android or iOS, despite living in one of the platform's biggest markets. Recommended Videos It seems Netflix is giving the concept another go. Earlier today, the company announced a massive overhaul for the Netflix home experience, including upgrades to the Search and recommendation systems. Additionally, the company revealed a TikTok-inspired vertical video feed featuring highlight clips from TV shows and films. Why does it matter? A video feed of short clips is an interesting way to keep users hooked briefly, but this is no social media where you can comment or invite a whole community to interact with it. Netflix knows that all too well, and it isn't pitching the feed as its own social media universe, either. The core pitch is to give users a preview of content, and if they find it interesting, they can go straight to streaming it on the device of their choice. It's no secret that users spend a heck ton of time just scrolling through the catalog or discussing with watch buddies on what to stream. With the vertical feed, users can scroll through a few carefully-cut clips and decide if they want to dig in further. Unlike the Fast Laughs, which focused on 'hilarious series and films to laugh-out-loud stand-up specials,' the new vertical video feed is going to show content from different genres and categories. What's the plan? Nudging users into watching the full movie or TV series is one of the core objectives of the vertical video feed. It will appear prominently on the home page, though Netflix is still calling it a limited test. It will, however, be available to users across the globe and will roll out gradually roll over the next few weeks. Of course, it's also a clever way to nudge others into signing up for Netflix. The streaming platform says users will be able to share the clips with friends and family members directly, just the way you do it on other social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok. The vertical video feed will be available to users across all subscription plans. When asked whether the company will also inject ads between the vertical videos, Netflix executives told the press that there are no immediate plans for it, but the company is always looking forward to new advertising avenues without hurting the streaming experience for users. Boots targets Gen Z with TikTok-inspired supplements range featuring 'trending' ingredients including lion's mane, ashwagandha and sea moss

Boots has launched a new TikTok-inspired wellness range, featuring 'trending ingredients' like lion's mane, ashwagandha, and sea moss. The range, called HABI, features a mix of ingredients that promise to boost energy, provide calm or help people 'get in the zone and going with the flow'. One is lion's mane – a large, white, shaggy medicinal mushroom. It contains bioactive substances that are thought to have beneficial effects on the body – especially the brain, heart and gut. The mushroom is regularly used both for cooking and medicine in Asian countries such as China, India, Japan and Korea. However it has recently become popular in supplement form, with some TikTok users claiming it has 'freed' them from chronic anxiety, boosted their memory and improved their focus and sleep. Ashwagandha, meanwhile, is an evergreen shrub that grows in Asia and Africa. The roots and leaves of the plant have been turned into powders or extracts and used in traditional medicine for centuries and it is commonly promoted for stress and anxiety reduction. The Boots ashwagandha supplement, called 'Zen', promises to 'find your calm and sense of tranquillity'. Sea moss has also been hailed online as a supplement that supports digestion and can even help clear skin. The company's sea moss supplement states: 'Enjoy the benefits of this nutrient packed gift from the ocean in a tasty gummy. 'Sea moss is naturally loaded with nutrients including riboflavin, calcium, magnesium, iodine, potassium and zinc, all known ingredients and loved by many.' Joe Thorley-Mitchell, Director of Boots Brand, said: 'I'm excited to finally be able to reveal HABI, which puts good habits over hype. 'We wanted to create a wellness range that's as playful as it is effective, balancing quality formulations with bold unmissable packaging and playful, sensorial formats.' Other supplements in the range include the popular ingredients apple cider vinegar and griffonia seeds. They all feature fruity flavours and come in brightly-coloured packaging. The company has also launched another range under the name 'Modern Chemistry' which are some of 'the most science-backed products' to date. They include another selection of supplements – also boasting ashwagandha and lion's mane – as well as skincare products to follow in the summer While the supplements are now available online, a range of HABI skincare products will also launch in July. These include 'zit zapper' spot stickers in bright colours – another trend that has taken off on TikTok. The company has also launched another range – under the name 'Modern Chemistry' – which are some of 'the most science-backed products' to date. They include another selection of supplements – also boasting ashwagandha and lion's mane – as well as skincare products to follow in the summer. The launch will likely be welcomed by TikTokers - many of who already use these 'trending' ingredients. Harry Thorn, a British online health coach, said in a TikTok video: 'I've been taking ashwagandha now for just over two months and here are my honest thoughts. 'The biggest effect I've personally seen has definitely been in regard to stress. 'Now, I'm just so relaxed, it's ridiculous.' SHOULD YOU DRINK BEETROOT JUICE BEFORE EXERCISE? Drinking beetroot juice before exercise could take years off your brain, research suggested in April 2017. Combining the drink with exercise strengthens certain regions of the brain, making it appear more youthful and potentially preventing the organ's decline, a study found. This finding could help people who are at risk of brain deterioration to remain functionally independent, such as those with a family history of dementia, according to the researchers. Beetroot juice's power likely lies in its nitric-oxide content, with past research suggesting this both increases blood flow to the brain and improves exercise performance. Study author Professor Jack Rejeski, from Wake Forest University, North Carolina said: 'Nitric oxide is a really powerful molecule. It goes to the areas of the body which are hypoxic, or needing oxygen, and the brain is a heavy feeder of oxygen in your body. 'Compared to exercise alone, adding a beetroot juice supplement to exercise resulted in brain connectivity that closely resembles what you see in younger adults.' The researchers analysed 26 men and women aged 55 and over who did not exercise and had high blood pressure. Some participants were given beetroot juice one hour before walking for 50 minutes on a treadmill, while others did the same exercise but without the drink. This was repeated three times a week for six weeks.
