TikTok Star Bella Brave's Mom Remembers Her Late Daughter on Mother's Day

"To all the bereaved moms on #mothersday, your love didn't end — and neither does their light," she captioned her TikTok and Instagram post, adding a red heart emoji wrapped in a bandage.
The message accompanied a video compilation, featuring sweet clips of Thomson and Bella smiling and enjoying time together. They are seen playing, ice-skating, biking riding and horseback riding with the song "The Night We Met," by Lord Huron, playing in the background.
Followers of Thomson, who has approximately 8M followers on TikTok and Instagram combined, flooded the comment section of her Mother's Day video with sympathetic words and kind messages expressing their love and support.

Bella had previously gone viral on social media after giving the world a glimpse of her vibrant personality, despite navigating the challenges of her illness.
"She was fearless," Thomson said of her late daughter at the time of her death. "Whatever she faced, I never saw fear in her. She taught me bravery."

Just days after being in a medically induced coma after suffering complications from a viral infection in her lungs, Thomson confirmed that she had died in a heartbreaking TikTok post on Sunday, July 14.
'Our brave girl left her legacy here on earth to dance on streets of gold July 14th 2024 at 4:19 p.m. ET,' she wrote alongside a video of her daughter dancing. 'Bella passed peacefully in our arms,' she continued. 'Please keep her name on your lips, her memories alive and her bravery in your hearts. Please share with us every detail of how she touched your life or kept you brave.'
Since her death, Thomson has continued to share her daughter's impact, urging everyone to celebrate the bravery and love Bella gave so freely.
