In an eight-game NBA slate on Sunday, the final one of the day was the Houston Rockets facing the Phoenix Suns. The Rockets took a comfortable 78-49 lead into halftime in a lopsided first half. With just under five minutes to go in the first half, things got extra chippy between the two teams. Brooks played just 11 minutes in the game before being ejected, and he scored eight points with a rebound and an assist. As it turns out, Brooks is now one technical foul away from receiving a one-game suspension by the NBA.
