With the NBA draft right around the corner, now is the time to look at some past drafts and see what the Philadelphia 76ers have done in their history. The Sixers have selected some big-time players in the past who have become an important part of the fabric of the franchise's history.
This edition continues to focus on 2016 when the Sixers selected Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot with the No. 24 pick in the draft. After taking Ben Simmons No. 1 overall, Philadelphia continued to add to the roster and it took the French swingman late in the first round.
TLC did some good things for Philadelphia as somebody who could knock down a 3 and provide some versatile defense on the other end. Overall, he spent two seasons in Philadelphia averaging 6.1 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists while shooting 32.3% from deep before being sent to the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2018.
