2 restaurant chains look to open locations in Dayton area
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Two popular fast-food chains are looking to enter the Dayton area to open numerous locations.
Dustin Thompson, director of Franchise Marketing and Development for Del Taco and Jack in the Box, told that both chains are looking to grow across the country, including the Dayton area.
Del Taco, a Mexican quick service chain open late-nights, is looking at roughly 10 sites for the region. Jack in the Box, a business with locations open 24 hours, wants roughly 15 locations, according to Thompson.
While Del Taco is known for its fresh ingredients, Jack in the Box is recognized for its all-day breakfast, Tiny Tacos and more.
Thompson said factors like population and access to interstates are among the factors both companies look at when determining potential regions to expand to.
Both chains already have locations in the Buckeye state. Three Del Taco locations operate in the Columbus area, and Jack in the Box operates a location in West Chester and another near Cincinnati's Oakley neighborhood.
No potential franchisees have been identified by the companies as of date for the Dayton area. Individuals looking to become a franchisee with Del Taco can click here to inquire or Jack in the Box can click here to learn more.
