Racist who walked into Mississippi club and hurled N-word at black patrons learns exceedingly painful lesson

A night out turned into a brutal brawl at a Mississippi club after a man stormed in and unleashed a barrage of racial slurs, sparking a violent group attack that left him bloodied, naked and hospitalized. The explosive incident unfolded late Saturday night at C.J. Lounge in Holly Springs. Police say the man, identified only as being from Tippah County, barged into the newly opened nightclub and immediately began using the N-word while referring to black patrons. 'The guy walked in, and he was very aggressive,' Miles Stone, who was at the club on Memphis Street when the incident happened, told Fox13. 'Other guys in the area were listening, trying to remain calm. They asked him to leave quietly.' Cell phone footage obtained by Holly Springs Police shows the unhinged man, who had been stripped naked, being doused in beer by a crowd of people around him. Seconds earlier, police say the man was seen being stomped, kicked and beaten with sticks and poles. Despite being pummeled, the man continued shouting racist slurs outside the nightclub. 'When they were scuffling outside, he was still using the N-word: 'F you N's, f you N's.'' Stone said. Police later confirmed the man was taken to the hospital on Wednesday with injuries he claimed may include a broken jaw. Investigators are now reviewing whether the incident could be considered a hate crime - but also stressed that the use of force went far beyond self-defense. Holly Springs Police said they have a person of interest they would like to speak with regarding the incident, but they believe several people are responsible, Fox13 reported. Adding fuel to the fire, the club was already under a watchful eye. Holly Springs Police say they have responded to C.J. Lounge nearly 30 times - in the just three months it's been open - citing various disturbances which include gun-related incidents and even a shooting that left one man with a foot injury. Stone however, insisted that the club wasn't to blame. 'I do not think this is a problem spot. I think it is a positive spot,' he said, adding that he doesn't condone the unruly behavior. 'I'm not standing for anything like that. However, we have to live with our choices, and he made the choice to go in there aggressively, and he has to live with the choice he's made.' As of Wednesday the club was closed. Authorities later revealed that the club was operating without a beer or business license. Holly Springs Police are asking any one with any additional information into the attack to come forwards as the investigation is ongoing.
