Need collective efforts to develop Tiruvuru Assembly constituency: Vijayawada MP
Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath stressed the need for collective efforts to develop Tiruvuru Assembly constituency, and pledged his support to achieve the developmental goals.
Participating in the Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) programme at Tiruvuru on Monday, Mr. Sivanath said that people need not travel to the NTR district headquarters to have their issues resolved as they could approach the officials locally under the PGRS.
Mr. Sivanath added that a total of 278 petitions were received during the PGRS programme, including 104 related to the Revenue Department. He requested Collector G. Lakshmisha to solve certain problems to be dealt with by MROs with due priority, and noted that the constituency has a large population of SCs and STs who require all the possible support.
Nearly 2,000 acres have been identified for industrial development in Nandigama and Jaggaiahpet constituencies, Mr. Sivanath said, adding that all efforts should be made to realise their potential.
MLA K. Srinivasa Rao, Andhra Pradesh State Organic Product Certification Authority Chairman S. Devadatta, and RDO K. Madhuri also took part.
