William Hill reported sustained support for Britpop rockers Pulp who had shortened into 1/2 odds after starting at even-money. Another favourite was New Zealand singer Lorde who had been backed into even-money from 3/1, before the market was suspended. 'Punters appear to strongly fancy Pulp to make their first live appearance since 2013 at Glastonbury this year, and Jarvis Cocker's band was backed into 1/2 from even-money before betting was suspended," a spokesperson for William Hill said in a statement. 'Similarly, we saw a run of 'smart money' for Lorde, with the New Zealand singer shortening into even-money having opened at 3/1.' Pulp and Lorde are the latest names to be floated as potential secret acts just days after fans were convinced they worked out who would be playing. Some believed it would be crooner Ed Sheeran after the Glasto team released the schedule and punters saw a gap on the main Pyramid Stage which left them scratching their heads. However, on Reddit, some believe they may have cracked it –believing Ed Sheeran is adding the festival to his string of surprise appearances. "Ed sheeran for the TBA pyramid set. Been doing secret gigs all year and this fits," wrote one. The guitar-playing singer has been promoting his new album, Play, which is set for release in September. Fans slam Glastonbury as 'worst one ever' as full lineup announced As part of this, he has released a number of new songs - including lead track Azizam and Old Phone – to get fans excited. To kick off promotion of the album, Ed joined Jimmy Fallon to perform on New York's Subway in disguise, dressing up like an emo rocker. Glastonbury is never short of exciting surprises on the line-up, with another leaving fans convinced that HAIM will make an appearance on the Saturday of the festival. Glastonbury 2025 - rumoured acts THE Glastonbury line-up hasn't been confirmed - despite the fact tickets for the 2025 event sold out in minutes. Here are some rumoured acts. Basement Jaxx sparked speculation they will be playing at Worthy Fam after leaving a "Glastonbury shaped gap" in their latest tour schedule. It came after the hit duo announced their first live shows in 10 years - with gig-goers calling out a key "clue" in the order of their concert dates. Yet acts including Olivia Rodrigo, Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and Eminem are rumoured to be in the mix. Canadian songstress Alanis Morrisette and Simple Minds have also been tipped to take to the stage. The event will run from Wednesday, June 25 to Sunday June 29 for 2025. HAIM addressed the rumours during an interview on BBC Radio 2. The sister trio are set to release their fourth album 'I Quit' on June 20, just one week before Glastonbury kicks off and one week after the festival the group is playing a one-off UK show at Dreamland Margate. BBC Radio 2 host, Jo Whiley, pointed out to the sisters that they would be free on the Glasto weekend, Este Haim told her, 'Well, we're playing Margate.' Haim then teased listeners by saying they 'shall be in the area," when Glasto is on. It follows a similar mystery in 2023 when ChurnUps were revealed to be the Foo Fighters. This year's headliners include The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo, while the rest of the bill features big-name acts such as Charli XCX, Doechii, Rod Stewart, Loyle Carner, The Prodigy and Raye. 5 Pulp rose to fame in the 1990s with songs such as, Common People Credit: Getty 5 Lorde is releasing a new album on the same weekend as Glastonbury Credit: Getty
