Togg T10X, Turkey's first national electric SUV

Erdogan first visited the Prime Minister House, where he presented the vehicle to Prime Minister Sharif, who drove it with Erdogan. Later, he visited the President House to gift President Zardari the car, with Aseefa Bhutto Zardari also driving the vehicle. Both leaders thanked the Turkish President for the gift. Togg, Turkey's first major national electric car manufacturer, has made significant strides in the automotive industry with the production of its T10X SUV. Founded in 2018 as a joint venture among five Turkish companies, Togg has received support from the Turkish government and the Union of Chambers and Stock Exchange of Turkey (TOBB). The company's first model, the T10X, began production in 2022 and is gaining attention for its advanced features and technology. With a range of up to 523 km (WLTP), the T10X offers options for both 52.4 kWh and 88.5 kWh batteries in its V1 and V2 trims. The vehicle supports fast charging, with 180 kW DC chargers enabling a 20% to 80% battery charge in just 28 minutes. Additionally, its rear-wheel drive system boasts a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of just 7.4 seconds and delivers up to 218 horsepower. A key feature of the T10X is its advanced connectivity. The car is integrated into Togg's mobility ecosystem, allowing users to stay connected to the internet wherever they go. The T10X also boasts an edge-to-edge display, enhancing multimedia experiences for both drivers and passengers. In addition to its innovative design, the T10X prioritizes comfort with memory front seats, wireless charging capabilities, and heated front and rear seats for maximum convenience. The car's safety features include advanced high-strength steel construction, superior balance systems, and seven airbags, all designed to meet Euro NCAP's 5-star safety rating. The Togg T10X also taps into Turkey's growing EV infrastructure with the Trugo network, which includes over 700 charging points across 81 cities. The accompanying Trumore app allows users to plan routes, make electronic payments, and earn loyalty points.

President Erdogan gifts Turkey's Togg to PM Shehbaz
Listen to article During his official visit to Pakistan on Thursday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan presented Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif with a model of Turkey's homegrown electric vehicle, Togg. Erdogan gifted the T10X model Togg SUV in Islamabad as part of his three-nation Asia tour. The two leaders took time to chat before posing for a picture in front of the green-coloured vehicle. The car's unique color is inspired by the lush Ayder highlands, located in Erdogan's hometown of Rize, on Turkey's Black Sea coast. In a symbolic gesture, Erdogan joined PM Shehbaz in the passenger seat as the PM took the electric SUV for a spin. The moment was captured in a photograph that emphasized the growing relationship between the two nations. Pakistan was the third and final stop of Erdogan's Asia tour this week. Earlier in the week, Erdogan visited Malaysia, where he gifted a similar Togg vehicle to Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. On Wednesday, he presented another Togg to Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
