Full Barbarians squad confirmed to face Springboks

SAM CANE, THE New Zealand captain sent off in the 2023 Rugby World Cup final loss to South Africa, is in the Barbarians squad to face the Springboks in Cape Town on Saturday. The 33-year-old flanker has since quit Test rugby after 104 appearances for the All Blacks and moved to Japan, where he plays for Tokyo Sungoliath. A couple of Ireland Test centurions, prop Cian Healy and flanker Peter O'Mahony, who ended their international careers this year, are also in a 23-man squad for the exhibition match. Advertisement New Zealander Robbie Deans will coach the Barbarians, who will play in South Africa for the first time and are seeking a fifth victory in nine matches against the record four-time world champions. Faffies and family time: How SA's favourite Springbok stars spent their Easter weekend

South African rugby stars spent Easter weekend with family and enjoyed a wide range of activities, from church visits to egg hunts. While Cheslin Kolbe visited South Africa, attending church with his family; Faf de Klerk enjoyed a playful Easter egg hunt. Springbok star Siya Kolisi and teammates skipped on the family activities, opting to explore Edinburgh, Scotland. The highly-anticipated Easter weekend has come and gone, much to the dismay of those who were enjoying an extended break from their day-to-day lives. For many, family fun and church commitments were the order of the day, and for our favourite rugby players, there was seemingly no exception. The Kolbes Cheslin Kolbe, who currently plays for Tokyo Sungoliath in the Japan Rugby League One and is also part of South Africa's national team, came home this weekend to spend some time with his family. Heading online, the Springbok wing (and sometimes fullback) shared that he was in South Africa for a short visit. He went to church with his wife Layla and their three children: a son and two daughters. Faf de Klerk and fam In true Faf de Klerk style, this Springbok star spent Easter as an Easter bunny, curating the cutest little Easter egg hunt while wearing one of his signature Faffies speedos. A clip of him braving the country's current cold weather to hide eggs for his little girl Remi-Ré and some of her cousins left a smile on many faces. Take a look below: The Marxs' Malcolm Marx, who currently plays for Japan's Kubota Spears as a hooker, enjoyed some time at the beach with his daughter and wife at the country's Okinawa Island. Taking it to Instagram, Marx shared a series of posts from the weekend, which he captioned, "Special time with the family in Okinawa." Kolisi and the gang Some of the Springboks' other famous faces, including captain Siya Kolisi, Bongi Mbonambi, and Ox Nche, spent their Easter weekend in Edinburgh, Scotland, where they indulged in a little bit of sightseeing and a lot of posing.
