Edinburgh Rugby confirm new contracts for nine players
The club have confirmed a blend of players advancing to professional contracts and some continuing in the pro-academy system.
Back-row Tom Currie, 20, and scrum-half Conor McAlpine, 21, have agreed two-year deals to progress to the senior squad.
Loosehead prop Mikey Jones, 22, has signed a one-year extension to his pro contract.
Hooker Jerry Blyth-Lafferty, back-row Oliver Duncan, scrum-half Hector Patterson and winger Lewis Wells have all signed new deals to stay with the Edinburgh Rugby academy.
Full-back Jack Brown, 19, has signed a two-year deal with lock Euan McVie, 20, agreeing a contract of the same length to remain at The Hive.

Edinburgh Rugby academy coach Kris Burney commented: "We are absolutely delighted to see such a talented group of young Scottish players commit their future to Edinburgh Rugby.
'It's fantastic to see the progress they are making, and we firmly believe they have a big future here at the club. It's particularly rewarding to see guys like Lewis Wells, Jack Brown, Conor McAlpline and Tom Currie, who have come through our pro-academy, already making an impact at senior level this season.
