Stacey Solomon and Tom Parker-Bowles among rumoured Strictly 2025 names

Rumours are circulating about the contestants for the upcoming 2025 series of Strictly Come Dancing, with the official announcement expected in two months. Possible contestants include Dani Dyer (Love Island winner and daughter of actor Danny Dyer), Tom Parker-Bowles (son of Queen Camilla and MasterChef judge), and reality TV stars Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo (Made in Chelsea, I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! winner) and Stacey Solomon (The X Factor, Sort Your Life Out). Thomas Skinner (The Apprentice) is also rumoured to be joining, hoping to attract a working-class audience, despite his lack of dancing experience. Ashley Cain (Ex on the Beach, Ashley Cain: Into the Danger Zone) is reportedly being considered due to his presenting skills. This Morning presenter Craig Rowe has publicly stated his interest and confirmed that talks are underway for him to participate in the show, which will return to BBC One in September with hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.

"Strictly Come Dancing" 2025 Cast: The Rumoured Line-Up

We get it, we're barely at the end of spring, so it might feel a little strange to already be looking ahead to Strictly Come Dancing, which so many of us associate with cosy winter nights in and the lead-up to Christmas. However, it's worth remembering that Strictly runs for months at a time – meaning we're actually not as far off this year's line-up announcement as you might think. In fact, rumours about which celebrities will be competing in the Strictly ballroom this year have already been ~swirling~ around, with everyone from the world of TV, music and even a few members of the aristocracy tipped to be taking part. Here's a quick guide to all the rumoured stars so far… Stacey Solomon After initially shooting to fame on the sixth season of The X Factor, Stacey Solomon won over a legion of new fans when she competed on I'm A Celebrity in 2010, going on to be crowned its champion. These days, she's best known as a TV presenter and online influencer, especially with regard to family life, crafting and, indeed, tidying up. In April, The Sun claimed that the former Loose Women panellist had already been approached by Strictly bosses, having previously shared her love of the show. Tom Parker Bowles Yes, you read that correctly. Tom Parker Bowles, son of Camilla, the Queen, is reportedly in the running to sign up for Strictly. The foodie and cookbook writer is the son of Camilla – apparently a Strictly fanatic – and her first husband Andrew Parker Bowles. Already a regular on MasterChef, The Mirror claimed in May that Tom may be expanding his reality TV repertoire. Tom was apparently approached last year about a Strictly spot, only for this not to come to fruition, so producers now have him at the 'top of their wishlist', the tabloid's 'Strictly source' claimed. Georgia Toffolo In that same Mirror piece, it was reported that former Made In Chelsea cast member and I'm A Celebrity winner Georgia Toffolo could be making a reality TV comeback. Citing their 'insiders', the outlet claimed that Georgia was already 'in talks' about a spot on this year's line-up. Craig Rowe Known for his appearances on shows like This Morning and A Place In The Sun, Craig Rowe hinted earlier this year that Strictly could be on the horizon for him. 'We've spoken to Strictly and nothing's happened yet, but talks are very much happening,' he told The Sun. Craig added: 'I'd like nothing better than the training as well to put me through my paces.' Hmmm... we're pretty sure those talks are supposed to be private, Craig... so maybe don't go splashing out on dancing shoes just yet... Ashley Cain Originally known for playing football for clubs like Coventry City, Ashley Cain later embarked on a second career as a reality star with appearances on shows like Ex On The Beach and MTV's The Challenge. Following the death of his eight-month-old daughter Azaylia in 2021, Ashley has become a charity campaigner and advocate for children's cancer research, and earlier this year began presenting the BBC documentary Into The Danger Zone, which explored different issues affecting young men in different countries around the world. According to The Mirror, it's this work that's caught the eye of Strictly bosses, citing 'insiders' who say he's already on producers' longlist of potential contestants, which will be whittled down from 'around 30 names' to just 15 as the new series gets closer. Thomas Skinner Thomas Skinner first rose to prominence on the 15th season of The Apprentice in 2019. While he may not have impressed Alan Sugar, eventually becoming the ninth candidate to be fired, he did get a rare 'keep in touch' from the entrepreneur on his way out the door – and he's rumoured to be returning for the show's upcoming celebrity special. On top of this, Thomas – who regularly makes appearances in debates for shows like Good Morning Britain, having also competed on Celebrity MasterChef – was reported by The Sun in March to have already signed up for Strictly this year. Angellica Bell via Associated Press Towards the end of last year, the Daily Mail reported that Strictly fans were speculating that children's TV legend Angellica Bell would be competing on the show in 2025, after apparently piecing together certain bits of evidence on social media. It's worth pointing out, though, that this was before she was announced to be on ITV's second season of Celebrity Big Brother earlier in the spring – so this is one rumour we definitely wouldn't get too excited about.

Royal Family's method to making the perfect iced coffee

Tom Parker Bowles, 50, recently published a book which offers more than 100 Royal Family recipes - here's what you need to know Queen Camilla's son has revealed a royally endorsed guide to making the perfect iced coffee. Tom Parker Bowles, 50, said the beverage is frequently enjoyed in the royal and main tea tents at garden parties. In his recently published book, Cooking and the Crown, he said: "A Garden Party stalwart, served in both the royal and main tea tents alike. The key is to use good coffee (this is not the time for instant) and not make it TOO sweet." ‌ If you're keen to explore Tom's regal recipe, he first advised getting the following ingredients: ‌ Double cream Brown sugar Coffee Milk Ice cubes While there are several ways to brew coffee, Tom believes the drip method is among the best. This generally involves running hot water over ground coffee beans through a filter at a very slow pace. The US-based National Coffee Association has explained that such a method is often achievable using a machine and will likely create a consistent "bright-tasting beverage". It said: "The machine does most of the work, and there are a wide range of drip coffee makers available, including many affordable options." Once the coffee has brewed, it should be allowed to cool for a moment before it's added to a blender. At this stage, Tom said you can add some cream, sugar, ice, and milk. "Blend until smooth and pour into two glasses," he wrote. You may be surprised to hear this isn't the only beverage famous among members of the Royal Family. Reports from Hello! and MailOnline suggest the Princess of Wales regularly sips a 'green juice' in the mornings. ‌ This concoction is said to include a robust blend of kale, spinach, romaine lettuce, coriander, blueberries, spirulina powder, and just a small teaspoon of matcha powder. Four ingredients are considered 'superfoods', referring to highly nutritious products. ‌ Helen Bell, a nutritionist from Help & Advice, previously told the Mirror: "In my experience, the term 'superfood' is often thrown around, but it generally refers to foods that are nutrient-rich and beneficial for health and wellbeing. "In Kate's smoothie, several ingredients could be considered superfoods. For instance, kale, spinach, and spirulina are packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. "Blueberries are another example, known for their high antioxidant content. Matcha, a type of green tea, is known for its concentration of catechins, which are natural antioxidants." Tom's book Cooking and The Crown boasts more than 100 recipes from Queen Victoria's reign to our present King Charles III. It includes lavish meals like "Pommes Elizabeth" and "Pudding au Pain et aux Cerises", alongside other simpler classics you can test at home.

Strictly Come Dancing bosses 'line up Georgia Toffolo and an Apprentice star for star-studded 2025 series'

Strictly Come Dancing bosses are reportedly already lining up the celebrity contestants for the next series, with Georgia Toffolo said to be top of the wish list. The Made In Chelsea star, 30, previously won rival reality show I'm A Celebrity back in 2017, and might have the chance to do the same on the BBC dancing contest, as she is said to be in talks to sign up. Speaking to The Sun, a source said: 'Georgia is in talks to join – she would bring glamour, poise and fun to the show. 'She's been a huge hit on all the telly shows she's done and would be a popular contestant on Strictly.' The insider claimed that fellow member of high society and MasterChef star, Tom Parker Bowles, is also in the running. The eldest son of Queen Camilla 50, is said to have already been approached for the last series, with bosses keen to get him onboard. 'It would be a coup to sign someone with such a strong royal link. Maybe we could see Camilla and Charles in the audience?' , Strictly bosses have also reportedly signed up Apprentice star Thomas Skinner in the hopes he'll attract 'working-class blokes' to the show. The businessman, 34, was on season 15 of the BBC show in 2019 and reached week nine before he was fired by Lord Sugar, despite losing all his tasks. Known for his strong Cockney accent and 'Bosh' catchphrase, he went on to rack up a large following on social media and appear on shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats and Celebrity MasterChef. According to The Mirror, Thomas has agreed to appear on Strictly after previously admitting his mum 'would love him to do it'. A source told the publication: 'Thomas hasn't any dancing experience, but he's up for giving the competition his best shot. 'Strictly bosses are hoping he'll get the dads watching. He has a massive following, especially with working-class blokes. 'He's a huge football fan and enjoys pies and gravy. He's not a luvvie at all. He's bound to get his catchphrase 'Bosh' on to the show, too.' MailOnline has contacted the BBC and representatives for Georgia, Tom and Thomas for comment. The BBC announced the professional lineup for this year's Strictly series last month, revealing there will be two brand new dancers joining. Dianne Buswell, who lifted the glitter ball in December with Chris McCausland, will be joining Johannes Radebe, Aljaž Škorjanec, Nadiya Bychkova, Karen Hauer, Gorka Marquez, and Jowita Przystal in returning to the dance floor this September. They will be joined by Katya Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Neil Jones, Luba Mushtuk Nancy Xu, Lauren Oakley, Michelle Tsiakkas and Vito Coppola who will all take to the floor once more alongside two new stars, who will be announced closer to the time. Amy Dowden, who pulled out in the opening weeks of last year's show due to a foot injury, will also be back on Strictly for 2025, as will Carlos Gu and Kai Widdrington, who didn't have a celebrity partner last year. Despite rumours that he might be making a return after missing out on last year's series, Giovanni Pernice will not be heading back to the ballroom this time around. Sarah James, Executive Producer, BBC Studios said: 'The excitement is already building ahead of the new series and in addition to welcoming back our fantastic returning Pros, we are looking forward to welcoming two brand new Professional Dancers to the line up who will help bring another unforgettable series of dazzling dance and loads more besides to viewers later in 2025.' As well as the pros taking part in the competition itself, all of them will be taking to the floor each week in group routines. In recent years, the Strictly pro lineup has seen Italian dancers Graziano Di Prima and Giovanni be axed following complaints about their conduct in the training room. Giovanni faced bullying accusations from former celebrity partner Amanda Abbington while Graziano 'kicked' ex-Love Island star Zara McDermott during rehearsals.
