Gerald Andersson shuts down breakup rumors with Julia Barretto: 'We're okay'
Gerald Anderson has dismissed recent rumors about a breakup with longtime girlfriend Julia Barretto.
In the latest "Toni Talks" episode on YouTube, the actor assured that he and Julia are still in a relationship.
"No, we're okay," he told Toni Gonzaga , refuting the breakup rumors.
He even shared that he had just taken Julia to the airport earlier that day.
'Pupunta sila sa Dubai, kaya nga napaaga ako," he said.
Gerald also opened up about Julia's positive influence on his life in the vlog.
'Si Julia is very mapagmahal, very motherly, manang mana siya kay Tita Marj [Marjorie Barretto], 'yung mommy niya,' he said.
''Yung values na meron siya, 'yung love na binibigay niya, 'yung support na binibigay niya, it inspires me to be better and give 'yung 100 percent ko and 'yung best version ko,' he added.
The couple confirmed their relationship in 2021, two years after they both denied Julia's involvement in Gerald and Bea Alonzo's breakup in 2019.
In 2024, Julia opened up about "taking accountability" following the Bea-Gerald controversy, saying, "you have to take accountability for, anong naging role mo sa chaos na 'yun."
