Randy White, the husband of country music star Lorrie Morgan, has passed away at the age of 72, with news of his death confirmed on June 1, 2025. Randy White, the husband of country music star Lorrie Morgan, died on June 1, 2025, at the age of 72. White had been battling mouth cancer since his diagnosis in April 2024. His death was confirmed by Morgan's manager, Tony Conway, in a statement shared with PEOPLE. White passed away in the early morning hours, following ongoing treatment and hospitalization. In April 2025, Morgan canceled several performances after White was readmitted to a hospital in Middle Tennessee. Conway also relayed Morgan's words: 'Randy has been my partner and my rock for 17 years… I was blessed by his love. Ran-Ran, I will love and miss you forever.' Born on May 15, 1953, Randy White was a retired entrepreneur who operated a successful landscaping business. He graduated from Hendersonville High School and studied at Volunteer State Community College. White and Morgan married in a private ceremony in September 2010. Morgan's son, Jesse Keith Whitley, shared a tribute to White on Facebook, writing, 'This great man has been here and loved my mom, and also me & my sister as [though] we were his own… You have fought one helluva fight RanMan!' White and Morgan raised a blended family of six children, including two of Morgan's and four of White's. They also had 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Morgan was previously married to singer Keith Whitley until his death in 1989. She had four other marriages before marrying White. Funeral arrangements for White are pending. As of now, Morgan's scheduled summer tour remains listed. She initially announced White's cancer diagnosis in April 2024 and thanked fans for their support. The post What Happened to Randy White? Alabama's June Jam concert canceled for 2025
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Organizers of Alabama's June Jam concert announced Tuesday that the event will be taking a year off. Several reasonings factored into the decision including the economy in the Fort Payne region, availability of guest talent and the moving of Rock the South to June. The fan appreciation weekend will still continue from June 26-28.
