17th annual Terre Haute Top Chefs
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — For the 17th annual year, the Terre Haute Children's Museum is holding its annual Top Chefs Fundraiser.
The event takes place at the Hulman Center, where over 100 local leaders will cook their favorite dishes for guests.
This year, the theme is 'We Love the 90s.'
The chef who brings in the most money for the fundraiser will be crowned Top Chefs Champion.
Executive Director of the Terre Haute Children's Museum, Susan Turner, said the money raised will help to fund the museum's renovation of the second floor, adding a number of new exhibits.
'We are going to have a tiny town, which we are calling the 'Healthy Haute', Turner said. 'It will feature the grocery store, the vet clinic, a gym, and probably a library. On the other side, we will have an updated agriculture area because ag is such a big deal in our community. Then connecting the two will be water, with a brand-new water table.'
Tickets are sold out for the event, however, if you would like to donate to a chef or participate in the silent auction, you can visit the event's website here.
