2025 Final Four: Auburn fans react to loss to Florida on social media Tigers fans share their heartbreak following Auburn's Final Four loss to Florida. An incredible season comes to a close.#WarEagle — Auburn Basketball (@AuburnMBB) April 6, 2025 Auburn's magical season came to a heartbreaking end on Saturday in the Final Four as they dropped their contest with Florida, 79-73, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Auburn held a 46-38 halftime advantage before Florida changed the tone of the game by starting off the second half on a 24-17 run over the first 13:17 of the half. Florida's Thomas Haugh made a layup with 6:31 in the game to give the Gators the 64-63 lead, which would be the score needed to take the final lead of the game. From that moment, Florida outscored Auburn, 15-10 to seal the win. Auburn fans are understandably heartbroken as the season, as well as the careers of several beloved Tigers, come to an end. Here are some of the best (or saddest) social media reactions to Auburn's Final Four loss to Florida. Auburn fans react to the Tigers' 80-63 win over Vanderbilt in Nashville
It is rare for a fan base to breathe a sigh of relief after watching their team earn a 12-point victory, but the Auburn faithful experienced every emotion possible Tuesday watching their favorite team take down Vanderbilt, 80-68, at Memorial Gymnasium in Nashville, Tennessee. In its 'bounce-back' game, Auburn jumped out to a 15-0 lead. The fantastic start was headlined by two Denver Jones three-pointers and paint points from Tahaad Pettiford and Johni Broome. Vanderbilt caught fire soon after, forcing Auburn to take a two-point lead into halftime. The Commodores carried their momentum into the second half as they stole the Tigers lead at the 17:35 mark in the stanza with a three-pointer by Jason Edwards. However, Auburn ultimately regained the lead four minutes later on a Chaney Johnson three-pointer to cruise to victory. Auburn fans were on edge all game long, but were filled with joy when the final buzzer sounded. Here are the best social media reactions to Auburn's victory over Vanderbilt on Tuesday. One of the major stories of this special season, the way Tiger fans have traveled in numbers too big to ignore. Can't wait to see how many make it inside Coleman Coliseum on Saturday. — Kevin Scarbinsky (@KevinScarbinsky) February 12, 2025 Never take a win at Memorial for granted. Vandy has already taken down good teams at home, and Auburn is still undefeated in SEC road games after its trip to Nashville. — Jay Phillips (@aubawn) February 12, 2025 Chaney Johnson 2nd Half:16 Points - 3 Rebounds - 2 Steals — TorresOnAuburn 🥶 (@TorresOnAuburn) February 12, 2025 Great road win vs a very good Vandy team. Probably the best game Chaney Johnson has played at Auburn. Tigers took the game over as soon as they started defending the paint. Defense wins championship.
