Who Is Tota MC? Meet Streamer University's Viral Brazilian Star
Image via: tota_ofc/Instagram In this ever changing streaming world, with new voices emerging almost daily, this person has risen with great speed and attraction. Relatively new to the scene, the Brazilian streamer is one of the best participants of the high-profile incubator for fledgling creators, the so-called "Streamer University" by Kai Cenat. From São Paulo Beats to Streaming Rockstar Before entering the realm of Twitch, Tota used to be recognized widely in the underground music scene of Brazil as a music producer. This creative energy combined with a fast wit went down smoothly through his entry into streaming in April 2024. Early on, his "Just Chatting" streams, which were part social commentary and part entertainment, gained modest attention amongst Portuguese-speaking-ranked people, eventually transcending borders. What makes Tota special is his emphasis on interactivity. He does not merely react to trending clips or memes; it's a connection that builds, thus sparking the engagement that dissolves the division typically perceived between shows and the show audience. This genuineness has skyrocketed him from 31,000 followers in early 2025 to over 174,000 in a matter of months. Instagram sings a very similar tune, with a devoted 143,000 fans looking to catch his daily antics. A Seat at the Big Table: Streamer University An influencer of the magnitude of Cenat himself had heard about Tota's rise and so invited him into Streamer University — the very first content training camp going on from May 22 to May 25, 2025. It is shaped by Cenat alongside AMP's Duke Dennis, rapper DDG, streaming star India Love, and cooking personality Kya 'Cookingwitkya' to fast-track newly discovered talents. For Tota, this is way beyond being the spotlight; it is a master class in global streaming culture. Apart from learning from internet veterans, he is showing that language and geography are no longer obstacles in achieving digital fame. TOTA Is the New DUKE DENNIS at Streamer University! 😂🔥 Representing a Brazilian Voice on the World Scene The story of Tota MC is a story of representation as well, about numbers and viral moments. As a Portuguese-speaking creator gaining traction in an English-dominated space, his stake in Streamer University signals a growing shift in what global influence looks like online. With grit, hustle, and so much cultural pride, Tota MC is not just learning — he is leading. Clearly, this is but the beginning of this chapter. Rescue Dog with Extremely Rare Spine Disorder ‘Runs Like He Owns the World' in Sweet Clip
Dogs with disabilities don't ever seem to notice or mind the ways in which they're "different." If anything, these sweethearts often have big personalities that make everyone they meet fall in love. Just like a mixed breed dog named Tota. Born with a very rare spine condition that gives him a "funny" walk, Tota is the truest example of loving life despite its challenges. Deemed "the happiest dog at the sanctuary," Tota doesn't let a single thing get in the way of living his best life. The 4-year-old mixed breed was born in Sri Lanka as a stray. Luckily, the helping hands at UK-based organization, Animal SOS Sri Lanka (via @animalsossrilanka) because without them, his chances of survival with the rare condition were very low. "My legs are deformed, I walk in a funny way, I have no neck and some muscle wastage. I was also covered in ticks and had a dangerous blood disease called babesia gibsoni," Tota's bio says on the org's website. But now he has "beautiful soft beds and toys that I love ripping up" and he has an affinity for "romping in the garden." The site adds, "despite my size, have the loudest voice at the sanctuary," which shows the kind of determination and resilience this sweet boy has and it's evident he's well taken care of and loving life Saratoga Spine explains, Short Spine Syndrome is a rare genetic condition that only 30 other dogs in the world are said to have, and its when the spine is shorter than normal. As you can see, Tota looks more compact and truncated than other pups but still a stunner! You can usually spot dogs with the rare disorder by their lack of neck, shortened vertebrae, a obvious hunch as they move. But don't let the look of it fool you. Tota, and others like him, can lead full, happy lives with normal life spans and are capable of feeling just as much, of not more joy. They may even be more mobile than those around them after adapting to life with the syndrome! The sanctuary doesn't only care for Tota. More than 2,500 pups are in their care, looking for their second chances. Tota has a lot more life to live and I'm sure he's going to breathe in every flower, feel every drop of lemony sunlight, and thank the heavens someone gave him the chance to live. Amadeus FiRe AG (ETR:AAD) Shares Could Be 40% Below Their Intrinsic Value Estimate
Using the 2 Stage Free Cash Flow to Equity, Amadeus FiRe fair value estimate is €144 Amadeus FiRe is estimated to be 40% undervalued based on current share price of €85.60 Our fair value estimate is 23% higher than Amadeus FiRe's analyst price target of €117 Today we will run through one way of estimating the intrinsic value of Amadeus FiRe AG (ETR:AAD) by projecting its future cash flows and then discounting them to today's value. The Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) model is the tool we will apply to do this. Believe it or not, it's not too difficult to follow, as you'll see from our example! Companies can be valued in a lot of ways, so we would point out that a DCF is not perfect for every situation. For those who are keen learners of equity analysis, the Simply Wall St analysis model here may be something of interest to you. See our latest analysis for Amadeus FiRe We're using the 2-stage growth model, which simply means we take in account two stages of company's growth. In the initial period the company may have a higher growth rate and the second stage is usually assumed to have a stable growth rate. To begin with, we have to get estimates of the next ten years of cash flows. Where possible we use analyst estimates, but when these aren't available we extrapolate the previous free cash flow (FCF) from the last estimate or reported value. We assume companies with shrinking free cash flow will slow their rate of shrinkage, and that companies with growing free cash flow will see their growth rate slow, over this period. We do this to reflect that growth tends to slow more in the early years than it does in later years. Generally we assume that a dollar today is more valuable than a dollar in the future, so we need to discount the sum of these future cash flows to arrive at a present value estimate: 2025 2026 2027 2028 2029 2030 2031 2032 2033 2034 Levered FCF (€, Millions) €37.1m €41.4m €38.2m €36.3m €35.1m €34.4m €34.0m €33.9m €33.9m €34.0m Growth Rate Estimate Source Analyst x3 Analyst x3 Est @ -7.78% Est @ -5.12% Est @ -3.25% Est @ -1.95% Est @ -1.04% Est @ -0.40% Est @ 0.05% Est @ 0.36% Present Value (€, Millions) Discounted @ 5.2% €35.3 €37.4 €32.8 €29.6 €27.2 €25.4 €23.9 €22.6 €21.5 €20.5 ("Est" = FCF growth rate estimated by Simply Wall St)Present Value of 10-year Cash Flow (PVCF) = €276m We now need to calculate the Terminal Value, which accounts for all the future cash flows after this ten year period. The Gordon Growth formula is used to calculate Terminal Value at a future annual growth rate equal to the 5-year average of the 10-year government bond yield of 1.1%. We discount the terminal cash flows to today's value at a cost of equity of 5.2%. Terminal Value (TV)= FCF2034 × (1 + g) ÷ (r – g) = €34m× (1 + 1.1%) ÷ (5.2%– 1.1%) = €837m Present Value of Terminal Value (PVTV)= TV / (1 + r)10= €837m÷ ( 1 + 5.2%)10= €504m The total value is the sum of cash flows for the next ten years plus the discounted terminal value, which results in the Total Equity Value, which in this case is €780m. To get the intrinsic value per share, we divide this by the total number of shares outstanding. Relative to the current share price of €85.6, the company appears quite good value at a 40% discount to where the stock price trades currently. The assumptions in any calculation have a big impact on the valuation, so it is better to view this as a rough estimate, not precise down to the last cent. We would point out that the most important inputs to a discounted cash flow are the discount rate and of course the actual cash flows. You don't have to agree with these inputs, I recommend redoing the calculations yourself and playing with them. The DCF also does not consider the possible cyclicality of an industry, or a company's future capital requirements, so it does not give a full picture of a company's potential performance. Given that we are looking at Amadeus FiRe as potential shareholders, the cost of equity is used as the discount rate, rather than the cost of capital (or weighted average cost of capital, WACC) which accounts for debt. In this calculation we've used 5.2%, which is based on a levered beta of 0.950. Beta is a measure of a stock's volatility, compared to the market as a whole. We get our beta from the industry average beta of globally comparable companies, with an imposed limit between 0.8 and 2.0, which is a reasonable range for a stable business. Strength Debt is not viewed as a risk. Dividends are covered by earnings and cash flows. Dividend is in the top 25% of dividend payers in the market. Weakness Earnings declined over the past year. Opportunity Trading below our estimate of fair value by more than 20%. Threat Annual earnings are forecast to decline for the next 3 years. Valuation is only one side of the coin in terms of building your investment thesis, and it ideally won't be the sole piece of analysis you scrutinize for a company. It's not possible to obtain a foolproof valuation with a DCF model. Rather it should be seen as a guide to "what assumptions need to be true for this stock to be under/overvalued?" If a company grows at a different rate, or if its cost of equity or risk free rate changes sharply, the output can look very different. Why is the intrinsic value higher than the current share price? For Amadeus FiRe, we've compiled three essential aspects you should further research: Risks: As an example, we've found 2 warning signs for Amadeus FiRe (1 can't be ignored!) that you need to consider before investing here. Down to Business: Tapville Social's growing pour-your-own-beer franchise started with Naperville bar/restaurant
Business: Tapville Social Address: 216 S. Washington St., Naperville Phone/website: 630-536-8739; Owner/CEO: Joseph Tota, 47, of Lisle Years in business: Seven What does your business do? 'We're a full-service restaurant featuring a new American menu. We highlight hand-crafted cocktails and cocktail flights, (that's) a big part of our business. … A lot of local craft beer. … We have 48 beer taps, 16 wine taps, four champagne taps,' Tota said. Why did you start this business? 'I was a marketing consultant with food and beverage clients. … It's hard to sample different beers if you're waiting for somebody to pour it.' How does this business work? 'You check in. We give you a card. It's called the pour pass. That can be used to pour your own. Slide the card into the slot and it turns on the tap. All the product is sold by the ounce. An added bonus is you can use the card to order food from your table. It makes it easier for customers.' How do the taps work? 'Right below us, there's a keg room. … When you put the card in, it sends a signal downstairs to open a valve so the beer can flow. There's a meter that measures the volume.' All local breweries? 'We try to support independent breweries, but we have nationals. I have stuff from Belgium, Germany. … We try to mix it up so people can try different products.' Any beer you didn't like? 'One had taco spices. It was horrible.' How many employees do you have? 'Thirty-two. It goes up and down seasonally. We have a large patio in the back for summer. … I can serve about 300 people here fully loaded. It's one of the larger private event spaces in downtown Naperville.' When are you busy? 'This is the slowest time of year. We're really busy in the summer.' Why Naperville? 'I grew up in Plainfield. I used to come to Naperville. There's a lot happening downtown. … We thought it would be a good location. Plus, it's close to home.' What's the reaction from first-timers? 'People come in here and can't comprehend the fact you can grab your own drinks. There was a lot of scrutiny, concern from the mayor's office that people would over-consume. … In reality we know what everyone has consumed, more than a regular bar (does). … After 24 ounces, we stop by, make sure you're not on the ground.' What about minors trying to drink? 'We require two forms of ID and a credit card (to get the pour pass). We always keep a staff member in line of sight of the tap wall. It hasn't been a problem.' What's the history? 'We started franchising about five years ago. This was our first restaurant location. We're expanded out to 17 states now. We have 38 operating locations. Six more not open yet. … Kiosks and restaurants. … This location helped fuel expansion nationally. It all started here. 'We've poured tens of millions of ounces across the brand. The company has done $34 million plus in sales over the years. We have an active campaign on Start Engine. You can buy stock.' Where was your second location? 'In Rosemont at the Fashion Outlet.' What's new? 'The great news we just received is Entrepreneur magazine rated us the number one self-pour franchise in the country. And we are ranked in the top 500 franchise list for the magazine. We're number 456.' Do you offer perks? 'We have a loyalty program. As you make purchases, you get points. After a certain amount of points, you earn discounts.' What about competition? 'There are a few self-pour places that have popped up. We're the leader. … What we compete with more are casual dining restaurants.' Who comes in here? 'About 68 percent of our customers are female. A lot of our marketing appeals more to women. Women who come in here will come back with their husband or boyfriend.' What's the pricing? 'It's based on ounce, determined by the style of beer, the brewery. Some international is higher. There's a price point for everybody.' Any negatives? 'This past year has been tough for a lot of restaurants. Less money in consumers' pockets. … Five years ago, it was COVID. We were closed, followed the rules, but it was tough.' What's your advice for someone starting a business? 'It's not easy when you start a business. … There are ups and downs. But the people who stick to it are the ones who are successful. … It becomes an all-consuming part of your life. … It's very hard, but it can be very rewarding.'
