According to officials, the small fire started in the attic around noon. No damage can be seen from outside the building.
Sharpsville Fire Chief Andy Totin said the restaurant was open, and smoke started coming from the men's restroom.
Totin said the fire appears to have come from the exhaust fan in the ceiling.
'We got it out pretty quick once we got the water on it,' Totin said. 'It's just a good thing that happened during the day when there were people here and not the middle of the night.'
It is unclear how many people were inside at the time of the fire, but there were customers.
According to a Facebook post, the restaurant will be closed for the rest of the day Thursday.
