SLMPD clears Tower Grove Park after multiple fights reported
ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) responded to alerts of multiple fights at Tower Grove Park during a permitted event today.
Mitch McCoy, the director of Public Affairs and Information for SLMPD, confirmed that one person was arrested and placed in custody.
McCoy said SLMPD officers at the scene are clearing the park out for safety. Currently, information about what caused the fights or whether there are any injuries is limited.
