Scranton Area Community Foundation awards $7,000 grant to PA Inclusive
PA Inclusive recently received a $7,000 Community Needs Grant from the Scranton Area Community Foundation to support its Transitional Academy Social Club.
The grant will enhance job training opportunities for individuals with disabilities in Lackawanna County, helping to promote inclusion and employment equity across the region.
'We are honored to receive this grant, which will directly support our mission of building inclusive workplaces and empowering individuals with diverse abilities,' said Anthony Melf of PA Inclusive. 'This funding allows us to continue creating pathways to employment for those who need it most.'
PA Inclusive's programs serve young adults with disabilities, equipping them with real-world work experience, job coaching and opportunities for growth in supportive environments.
The Community Needs Grant will help further these efforts through expanded services and resources.
