Rickie Fowler to play 2025 Travelers Championship
CROMWELL, Conn. (WTNH) — Having first appeared at the Travelers Championship as an amateur 15 years ago, Rickie Fowler will be back again this year, appearing as a seasoned professional.
The 36-year-old Florida native had a sponsor exemption for his first Travelers play in 2009. This year's tournament will be his seventh appearance at TPC River Highlands.

Travelers executive vice president and chief administrative officer Andy Bessette said Fowler has been a fan favorite since he joined the PGA Tour.
'He has inspired a generation of kids through his success on the course, his approach, and his sense of style. He'll have some of the biggest galleries at TPC River Highlands this year, and a lot of people will be rooting that he has a great week,' Bessette said.
Fowler has six wins in his PGA Tour career, won THE PLAYERS Championship in 2015, and has been a member of Team USA at the Ryder Cup five times.
