Watch: North Bay Haven sweeps at district championships
PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) – The North Bay Haven boys weightlifting team took first place in both the Olympic and Traditional lifts at the Class 1A District 2 Championships on Friday.
Led by first-year head coach Trenton Edwards, this was the first time that NBH had ever won the traditional category at districts.
Bozeman senior, Evan Earnest was the top pound-for-pound lifter, posting a 680 total in the Traditional lifts, and he tied the state record with a 335lb clean and jerk in the 169lb weight class.
