Ariza is the latest player to earn an offer from North Carolina in the 2026 class, picking one up on Thursday. The forward plays at St. John Bosco High School, earning a fifth star in his ranking.
According to 247Sports, Ariza has a rating of 98 and a composite score of .9970. He is the No. 8-ranked player in the nation, the No. 2-ranked small forward, and the No. 5-ranked player out of California.
He also has offers from the top programs in the nation, including John Calipari and the Arkansas Razorbacks, while Kentucky, UCLA, and Kansas have all joined in on the Ariza sweepstakes.
For what it's worth, his dad played college basketball for the Bruins, and they were the first team to offer Ariza.
