A new Canadian documentary titled 'Sideways' showcases the legacy of the 1986 Swift Current Broncos bus crash.
The feature, produced by Trilight Entertainment in partnership with I Got Mind Inc, brings together a group of media, mental health leaders, athletes and many more.
The documentary aims to bring more awareness on how navigate grief, guilt and to moving forward from tragedy.
Former NHL player Bob Wilkie survived that crash and makes an appearance in the production.
'You know, what I think I see out in the world, just all the struggles that are currently going on – and different events and how they're affecting people an
'Going through a traumatic event myself and getting to the other side of healing – I think its important to show people how to heal but there's a process to it and that's really important,' he told CTV News.
The documentary had its premiere at the Saskatchewan Science Centre in Regina on May 28.
