Family of Cedar City student struck on I-15 warns of fake donation link
CEDAR CITY, Utah () — The family of a juvenile Friday is speaking out about her condition and warning of a fake donation link circulating online.
A spokesperson for the family confirmed that Trinity Dorris remains in the hospital in critical condition, though the identity of the victim has not been confirmed by officials. The spokesperson said that Trinity continues to recover in the hospital after the incident, having surgery today on one of their injuries.
Lori Mosley, a friend of the Dorris family, says the family is immensely grateful for all of the support the community has shown.

The family has set up a Venmo link for donations and is exploring other options in the community as well. However, the family is warning of a fake Venmo link that has been circulating which claims to be a donation account.
Those close to Dorris also warn the community to be on the lookout for any other fake links.
According to Mosley, friends and family have created a Facebook group called 'Trinity's Army' to provide loved ones with updates on Dorris' condition.
