Friday after 5 still scheduled to take place despite severe weather risk
HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Despite severe weather forecasts for the Owensboro area, including the possibility of hail and tornadoes, officials say Friday After 5 will continue as planned tonight.
According to a post on Facebook, officials will be monitoring the situation and provide updates if anything changes throughout the day. You can find the latest weather forecast on our Tristate Weather Wall page.
May 16 is scheduled to be the first Friday after 5 for the 2025 season. If it continues to take place, guests will be able to listen to live music from the Velvet Bombers.
