Salem man dies after crashing into bridge in Shannon County

SHANNON COUNTY, Mo. — An 64-year-old man from Salem, Missouri, has died following a single-car crash in Shannon County on Wednesday. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the man was traveling north in a 2008 Toyota Yaris on Mo. 19, seventeen miles north of Eminence around 3:52 p.m. Two Springfield men win award from Domino's The report says the man's vehicle ran off the roadway and struck the south side of the Round Spring Bridge. DOUGLAS COUNTY, Mo. — A teenager from Ava was killed after falling from the hood of a vehicle while it was traveling on a county road. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the incident happened at County Road 500 at 6:50 p.m. one mile west of Ava. The 16-year-old male fell from the hood of a car and was struck by the vehicle. He was pronounced dead about an hour later. This is the seventh fatality in Troop G in 2025. Man arrested for displaying firearm in road rage incident on Merritt Parkway in Stratford

STRATFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A Bridgeport man was arrested for allegedly displaying a firearm during a road rage incident on Merritt Parkway in Stratford Thursday, according to state police. Around, 3:44 p.m., Troopers from Troop G were informed of a road rage incident on Route 15 South near Exit 52. The caller told police that he was in a road rage incident where a man allegedly displayed a firearm, state police said. State police said they were able to get registration information for the suspect. The victim told police this came after they were in traffic for almost 30 minutes and the suspect car, a white Kia, cut him off several times. Waterbury police officer shot while investigating attempted carjackings Troopers said the car was registered to Steven Moore, 35, and visited his residence where Moore admitted to driving the Kia when the incident occurred, according to state police. State police said troopers found a loaded Glock handgun in the Kia with a loaded magazine that was seized as evidence. Moore was arrested and charged with threatening with a firearm in the first degree and breach of peace in the second degree.
