Karratha set for WA Day finale celebration with live entertainment, sideshow alley and dazzling drone show
Karratha is set to mark the conclusion of Western Australia's month-long WA Day celebrations with a large-scale community event at Bulgarra Oval on Sunday, June 22.
From 4pm-8.30pm, the free event will feature live music, rides, food trucks, and a drone light show, transforming the oval into a vibrant celebration.
The entertainment line-up includes local artists James Wilson, and Gemma Luxton and The Highway Boys – a country-rock band known for their crowd-pleasing mix of tunes.
Sideshow alley will provide a variety of attractions for all ages, including family-friendly rides such as the Dreamland Tracked Train and Tropical Island Combo and high-adrenaline options like the Zipper.
A range of food vendors will also be on-site, offering diverse dining options throughout the event.
The evening will conclude with a drone show lighting up the night sky in a visual tribute to the people and culture of Western Australia.
The event is presented by Rio Tinto and Woodside, with support from the State Government and Lotterywest, as part of the WA Day Festival – a Statewide program celebrating Western Australia's heritage, diversity and community spirit.
