Truckfest is making a roaring return to the Royal Highland Centre this August, bringing back the heart-pounding stunts and spectacular truck displays that captivated audiences at Edinburgh last Fringe season. Set for August 2 and 3 at the Royal Highland Centre in Ingliston, Edinburgh, the event promises an electrifying mix of motorcycle stunt shows, monster trucks, and a dazzling array of classic and rare trucks, Edinburgh Live reports. ‌ A flyer for the event invites visitors to 'Join us on 2nd and 3rd August at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, Edinburgh, EH28 8NB, for another epic Truckfest! ‌ "Car crushing monster truck action, death-defying motorcycle stunt displays, thousands of trucks on display, a wealth of retail stands, massive industry displays, family entertainment, delicious food and drink and so much more.' Fans are encouraged to buy tickets in advance to avoid queues and take advantage of discounted rates. For those wanting to make a weekend of it, camping packages are available which include a pitch, vehicle pass, and show entry for both days. The Royal Highland Centre website highlights Truckfest's long history, stating: 'Since 1983 Truckfest has been delivering a great day out and a fantastic family experience.' Visitors can expect to be wowed by monster trucks and arena stunt shows, meet celebrities and children's characters, enjoy exhilarating rides, and browse a wide range of goods from traders. Truckfest Scotland is described as one of the biggest and best shows up north, offering both day visitors and weekend campers the chance to enjoy stunning truck entries and thrilling stunts. ‌ Camping passes come with pitch, vehicle pass, and full weekend show entry, and truck owners can showcase their own vehicles with discounted entry for themselves and their families. The event also caters for fleets and companies looking to make an impact, with large showcase stands available for networking with thousands of hauliers. Campers and truck entrants can arrive from Friday to set up and enjoy a full weekend of entertainment. ‌ 'Whether you're joining us for the day or the weekend, come and be a part of Europe's biggest and best truck show,' the website reads.
